Damonza Reviews

As an author with a deep passion for storytelling, I was searching for a company that could truly partner with me to bring my books to life. I found that partnership in Damonza.

From the start, they’ve exceeded my expectations—professional, organized, trustworthy, and highly experienced across all facets of the publishing process. Working with them has been a seamless and rewarding experience, and I’m genuinely pleased with the quality and care they bring to every project.

Used Damonza for years. Heck, it might be past a decade by this point! They are THE gold standard and the only one I recommend to any friend or college looking to get covers done. Though they aren't the "cheapest," you 100% get what you pay for. And in the case of Damonza, they actually ARE cheap when you compare their quality to others who charge 2-3x more.

I can’t say enough good things about Damonza’s work on my ten-book historical fiction series, Road to the Breaking. The covers are bold, dramatic, and consistently catch readers’ attention. The Damonza team was a true creative partner—blending their expertise with my vision to deliver results that far exceeded expectations.*** Highly recommend!

They designed the second book in my Tiny Tin House series, and as usual, they knocked it out of the park. I love the way they take my feedback and incorporate it to make something so much better than I ever expected.

Overall, Damonza was found to be a great choice for formatting my book. The cover, contents, and all other services provided were done in the most professional manner possible. There is one exception I would like to mention: making my project manager available by telephone would have been much appreciated. Messaging accomplished the goal, but for greater clarity, and time savings, some of the repeated work could have been avoided. Hats off to Robynne; her patience and general kindness were extremely valuable to me.

I've used Damonza for years and years now. I was first introduced to them when they did the cover for three of my books at Thomas & Mercer and kept right on using them for years thereafter. They're the best in the business and you always - ALWAYS - know you're not only going to get quality work back, they're also extremely responsive to notes and work with you to get exactly what you want. I wouldn't work with anyone else.

Fantastic!

Damonza have created 6 book covers for me so far and they have all been wonderful. They look professional, are genre-specific, and the service is speedy and efficient. I'm completely in love with my book covers and can highly recommend Damonza!

Quality and convenience. I would highly recommend this group.

The folks at Damonza did a splendid job on my book cover. They worked with me and helped refine my vision each step of the way. My suggestions were always met, and pleasantly so. They were friendly despite my indecisive nature. I'm looking forward to my first book release because I know the cover will sell it!

I have been in this book creation world for 8 years now. It has taken me quite some time to find this group, but I can say I’m exceptionally happy.

I learned of Damonza through a webinar on self-publishing … and I am so glad I approached them! As a three-time published novelist, I know the importance of a good book cover, and Damon and his team more than delivered. I was impressed by their detailed questionnaire and the time they took to ask me about my book, giving them the information they needed to produce four sensational draft covers. One of those covers proved so popular with my test audience that I’m looking forward to sharing it with the world. The experience is giving me permission to hope that my book might just break through in a crowded market. But however successful my book turns out, I will always be able to say that I have a cover that does my story justice.

I have used Damonza for 3 of my novels. They are creative, timely and reasonably priced.

Always responsive, quick, imaginative and colorful.

I have nothing but good things to say about Damonza. They have designed three covers for me that are not only beautiful but dramatic. Robynne has been especially helpful and patient in designing these as I have given detailed input because of specific elements I needed for the stories. I'm looking forward to future covers with Damonza. They are the best!

The turnaround was fast, the cover was good, and they were quick to respond. Good stuff.

The cover exceeded my expectations. It was spot-on for genre and somehow expressed some of the heart of my story in a gripping snapshot. Additionally, at every step of the process, communication was prompt and clear.

This was my second time using Damonza and once again they did not disappoint. I absolutely love my cover and they worked through multiple versions and edits to make sure I was satisfied. Highly recommended!

First, the most important end product - the cover - was superbly done. Every one of my writer friends wanted to know who did it because they really liked it.
Second, response times were faster than Damonza said to expect.
Third, I made a lot of changes on the cover and the interior and they never complained or told me to get my act together.
Fourth, I will hire Damonza when my next book is ready.

What they do well:
Damonza is professional, responds promptly, has a very reasonable price for the service they provide, and overall are great to work with.

What could be improved:
There were several items, specifically with the interior changes, that I needed to call out multiple times in order to have them addressed properly. I was surprised by this because I didn’t recall this happening with my first experience working with them 4 years ago.

At the end of the day, I am extremely happy with the result so it hurts to give anything less than 5 stars. Where they lack, they made up tenfold with the end result.

Tremendous as always
