Avoid& Watch out for this shady scam company! They employ deceptive tactics to extract £39 from unsuspecting individuals without their explicit consent. Initially, I agreed to a seemingly innocuous 50p charge for a document which it wasn’t available anything on their data, only to wake up the next day to a staggering £39 subscription fee forcefully deducted from my account. To make matters worse, I don't even have an account with them; they shamelessly exploited my email and card details for their own gain. When I confronted them about this blatant act of theft, they callously shifted the blame onto me, insisting that the responsibility lay in my failure and They blamed me for their sneaky actions.Yet, let's be crystal clear: there was no indication whatsoever of any subscription agreement on my end. Despite their hollow assurances to rectify the situation, they shamelessly Despite their hollow assurances to fix the problem, they shamelessly backed out of their promise, leaving me out of pocket and furious! I refuse to tolerate such egregious behaviour from this fraudulent company. They should face consequences for their terrible actions.Any reputable company worth its salt would promptly refund the money in such circumstances. However, this company's blatant disregard for basic decency and customer satisfaction is nothing short of appalling.

Same as the everyone else , 50p one day £39 the next day . I have phoned my bank which is nationwide they have put a block on them taking any more money . They advised I e mail these horrible people and ask for my money back. Don't hold out much hope . Feel like a right idiot

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Paid 50p and then got charged £39. EVERYBODY HAS A 14 DAY REFUND PERIOD. I called this number 020 4525 5459, told them I would like a refund and they refunded me no problem. Phone call only lasted about 1 minute.

I have also been scammed! Agreed to pay 50p 2 days ago as I am trying to find a long lost family member, said there was a match, paid 50p to be told there is no match, 2 days later they take £39 subscription fee unauthorised! I called them they refuse to give my money back and no manager available for me to speak to! How can they prey on people looking for long lost relatives!! It's heartbreaking

Looks like I’m the latest to be scammed, gave limited information about my query and as soon as I paid the 50p there was no information available! They have now taken £39 from my account, any one any info how to get a refund and stop all future payments as no reply from e mails!

I got caught just like everyone else. Paid 50p to get an address which they didn't have and then got hit with a £39 credit card charge. Tried to cancel on their web site but it says they don't have an account for me. Tried to call several times but never answers. AVOID

I have been scammed, I looked up a number, was charged 50p, now they have taken £39.00 out of my account, contacted my bank, I have e-mailed the company and stated that there is a 14 day cooling off period,
The bank says it looks like I signed up for a reoccurring payment!!!
Reported as fraudulent, dishonest and deceptive

This is fraud. They ask you to authorise £0.50 and then take £39 from your card next day.
Talked to the bank today and they said ask the company for the money.

Took 50p out of account for an alleged search, fortunately my bank has issued a new card, and blocked them and refunded me. They are absolutely disgusting and deserve to be caught out

The exact same thing happened to me
The exact same thing happened to me - paid 50p to track some information, they said 'no information was found', then a couple of days later that I was charged £39. I tried to block this payment but my bank requests that I contact the company first.
I called and a man with an Arabic accent spoke and made it all seem legitimate and got angry when I said that this was fraud. Supposedly he canceled my 'subscription' but I don't believe it. Came on here and saw that the same had happened to others. Am on the phone to my bank now and it's taking ages - I have a baby to look after. Vile, disgusting scammers. Stay away. I'm going to report them to the police.

I have had exactly the same experience as all the other scam victims - 50p taken from my account to get the details and then an attempt to take £39 per month for a so-called "subscrption". I can only praise my bank (Nationwide) for spottimg this and denying the payment. What is the Faud Squad doing?- or not doing? This company must be prosecuted and closed down.

Disgrace. Not a service, just a con to take £39 a month from you. I will report them they need shutting down. Legally you should have 14 days cooling off so will be using this but have to cancel my card to be sure can’t take anymore.

This is a service that hides the…Is this Fraud?
This is a service that hides the "subscription" of £39 pm behind a 50p initial payment. Once they have your card details they then proceed to extract £39.
Luckily my bank "flagged" as a possible fraud and prevented it BUT it also means I will be without my debit card until it is replaced. Cannot use the words to describe this lot but you can fill in the "blanks".

Paid 50p for a search after data app…
Paid 50p for a search after data app appeared to have information I wanted,they did not, this is 'miss selling' and against retail laws. £39 out of my account two days after my initial search, data app refused to refund my money. I emailed them this morning them and told them to refund my money as they have 'miss sold' and I have a legal right to '14 days cooling off period' I recived an email this afternoon stating I will be refunded my money within 7 working days. Don't let them get away with it!

Scammers, same complaint as all of the other reviews below, stupidly paid 50p to search for my divorce date which they state can be found, turned up no such information, then priceeded to take £39 from my card, emailed them and wanted they wanted no responsibility, taken it up with my bank!
