Data Academy Reviews

Wow what a great experience i had with data acadamy. All staff are amazing. Big thank you to Phil who was my instructor throughout my training. he was amazing, professional. and very patient, which gave me a PASS
Thanks team keep up the amazing work you are doing in helping people move forward

what can I say about data academy, they are brilliant and every member of staff there very experienced in what they do. when I find my theory test hard even the managing director offered to come and help me get me though it, now that is commitment from data academy for you. p.s thank you Roger for putting up with me you was brilliant

Just completed my forklift license at Data Academy and i had the pleasure of being taught by Glenn. Glenn made the process of learning how to drive a forklift interesting and enjoyable. At the beginning of the week i had no idea on how to drive a forklift, but at the end of it i can confidently say i have the ability and confidence to operate a forklift efficiently and safely. I also cannot fault any of the staff at Data Academy, they were very welcoming and supportive all the way through the week.

On the 29-1-26 I passed my class1 with Data Academy, 3 years prior to that i passed my C1 7.5T License…

I stayed with the company that made me a better driver and a better understanding of the road. You’re asking why?…

Well when you get to know a company like D.A you’ll understand, From their team, to making you feel welcome is a big Help when you want to challenge your self…

The instructor funny enough both times Eddie never took a no for an answer or “I can’t do it” he’d push you but also take the time to explain everything to you from what you did correctly to what you can do better the next day when you’re out, telling you to try it when your driving home, it’s them little things that make it simple… I passed both times with No Faults earning my self 2 D.A cups (think I’m going to start a collection)

Also I’d like to say a big thank you to the rest of the team for there moral support and great hospitality, I’ll certainly be back soon to catch up over a cuppa and maybe something else to train on.

I have just passed my cat b driving test with data academy and cannot praise them enough. Eddie was my instructor, he is a firm and vigilant teacher that will not take “I can’t do it” for an answer. He will keep encouraging you to carry on to be a good driver and be confidant in doing it. From starting my lessons at 17 with a different company to passing at 20, moving over to data academy was by far the best dicision I made,i very highly recommend them. I want to say a MASSIVE thank you to Eddie and everyone at data academy for getting me passed!!!

Thankyou to all the team at Data Academy for helping me pass my class C license. Helpful, friendly and efficient from start to finish. Would highly recommend. 👍

From my initial phone call to Data Academy, and to my son passing his HGV test, we received first class service and great support through the process. Thank you so much. Will be sure to recommend you!!!

100% would fully recommend!Absolutley brilliant company! the whole team made me feel so welcome and comfortable from the very first moment I walked through the doors🥰. Although it felt like such a short journey and experience, the amount of information and guidance that I was taught in such a short time is madness! All of the team and instructors were very clear and calm which made the experience some what less daunting and no question was too much. Thank you so much Data Acadamy for everything and a special mention to Eddie! such a nice genuine calm guy it was an absolute pleasure👌🚛💨

It’s been around a year and a half since I did my HGV training with Data Academy and have been meaning to leave a review.

Honestly it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made and being recommended to use them made my decision easier. From the initial phone call and visit, the advice and support, and all aspects of training It was a pleasure and a privilege to of trained with you guys.

I cannot recommend them highly enough, they really have got it down to a T. AlI can say is if you’re looking for the best HGV training provider around look no further!

Thanks a lot guys and all the best.

Where to start? I was thrown right out of my comfort zone by my employer, from van to class 2, I had a week! I didn't think that was possible at all, not for me.
So off I went new city new vehicle with no idea of what was to come,
I went through a whole range of emotional turmoil ( I'm sure they saw that 😅) now the staff here are top people they make you feel most welcome, in a very comfortable atmosphere. My instructor was brilliant and I'm sure I tested his patience (alot)
Other staff involved especially in the learning parts he was brilliant, clear on what I needed to learn and always reassuring me/us in what we understood.
I'm very surprised at my self for only taking a week and passing everything and coming out a qualified class 2 driver?
If they can do that for me, they can do that for you. I have learnt so much form this experience and I hope I continue to grow and improve upon the learning and skill they have taught me.
Thankyou again (next time I pass, i will bring jaffa cakes)

The training provided by DATA ACADEMY was highly beneficial and delivered with excellent professionalism.Im satisfied with the overall quality of the program and the guidance offered throughout the sessions. I would confidently recommend DATA ACADEMY to others seeking comprehensive and reliable training…

Thanks you very much for your help ( Dorian and Phil ).You’re help me too to change my life in this year 2026. I recommend their company

I highly recommend Data Academy, the best driving school, with the best instructors, professionals, warm and friendly people. It helps you overcome any situation, guides you and shows you that you can achieve your goals. All the best Data Academy, the best Team ever and a Big thank you. Merry Christmas.

I can’t recommend Data Academy enough. From day one, the team were professional, friendly, and genuinely focused on helping me succeed. The instructors explained everything clearly, were incredibly patient, and gave me great tips that made a huge difference when it came to confidence and technique.

The training vehicles were in great condition, the sessions were well-structured, and I always felt supported — never rushed. Any questions I had were answered properly, and they made sure I understood each step before moving on.

Thanks to Data Academy, I passed my C+E feeling fully prepared. If you’re thinking about getting your licence, this is the place to do it.

From my initial phone call with Dorian to get a quote to me passing my final test, Data Academy were brilliant every step of the way. I couldn't recommend Data Academy enough if you want to progress yourself and get qualified as a HGV driver.

The price i was quoted covered absolutely everything from the medical examination costs, all 3 theory test costs, the online theory exam learning materials and also the 13 hours of driving lessons and tests at end with no hidden costs or fees.

This company provides a top tier revision software which will significantly help you to pass your theory tests.

I was on the road with Eddie for my 13 hours of driving i couldn't be more thankful for his efforts in getting me test ready, pointing out my mistakes and helping me improve my driving effectively.

Dorian and the team at Data Academy deserve a huge congrats on the training they provide and the life's they change for the better.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I highly recommend Data Academy – an excellent and truly professional HGV driving school! The whole team is friendly, patient, and very supportive. A special thanks to Roger, who taught me with great skill and calmness. Thanks to his help, I passed with confidence. Absolutely the best school! 🚛👏

Amazing team, always welcoming! The guidance i had from Phil was brilliant and definately strive to make you a safe driver, not just to pass your test!

Data Academy helped me out of a tight spot when I had a short turnaround for a job that required C1 licence. The team called me within minutes after first emailing them, and fitted me in for a course. Both driving instructors put me at ease, and the company as a whole is incredibly friendly. I cannot recommend them enough.

I recently passed my C1 driving test first time after completing my training with Data Academy, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough! I did two 4-hour driving days plus practice on my test day, and the whole experience was brilliant. The instructors (Phil and Eddie) were friendly, patient, and really supportive throughout — they explained everything clearly and made me feel confident behind the wheel. The course was really well-structured and great value for money compared to other providers I looked at. From even just requesting a quote Dorian was quick to respond and beyond helpful and willing to answer any questions I had. They actually teach you how to drive safely, rather than just how to pass a test. Thanks to their guidance, I felt fully prepared going into my test. I’d definitely recommend Data Academy to anyone looking to get their C1 licence!

Forklift training delivered very well by Glen. Good facility and friendly place to learn.
