Davis Tate Wantage - John and Oliver have been fantastic during our recent house move! Finding us our first home and making it happen! 🙌 it’s been alittle daunting due to the pandemic happening but they have reassured us and guided us well through our move. Communication was brilliant and always getting back to us so quickly! Highly recommend

FLEA INFESTED flat moved in Christmas Day ruined because fleas from previous tenants!
Moved into a FLEA INFESTED flat Fuchsia Grove, Shinfield on 25th December... called Davis Tate when they opened 28 December to say flat is infested with fleas, bitten all over by fleas & we had been up from 11pm - 5:30pm vacuuming and hadn't slept after being at work all day as well!
NO APOLOGY and no concern. Was told they'd contact the cleaner to come and clean. Which would definitely not have been on the same day & they showed no remorse and never said sorry for the inconvenience. I agree with the other review, staff are very arrogant.
Finally after pushing to stay in a hotel, they called Pest Control and said to the guy “ I think they’re exaggerating.” Pest Control have had to come out twice, since we moved in... the 2nd time a I had 22 bites on one leg , 3 on the other and he found 7 living fleas after the 2nd treatment .
I had the washing machine & tumble dryer on for 3 days , and had to stay in a hotel, cancel Christmas and New Year plans as we couldn’t have any visitors. I counted 22 bites on one leg.
Almost 2 months after moving in, the faults when we first moved in have still not been fixed, as promised.
If this was a private Landlord, they would have been fixed in December before we moved in.
Never will I go with an Agency again, worst treatment and experience of renting ever.
