Over the years, I’ve gained experience across all levels of the industry — from sourcing and preparation to sales and customer care. More importantly, I’ve seen first-hand how modern car sales have changed, and how that change has increasingly worked against the customer. Today’s dealerships are impressive operations, often holding millions of pounds worth of stock. That stock needs to be sold quickly to avoid financing costs and depreciation. As a result, many sales processes are built around moving existing vehicles, rather than helping customers find the right one.
