Devs are by far the worst for any game for sure. They are survivor sided ands nerfs and buffs come slow. They don't understand that the games unbalanced. Like them nerfing slugging. People slug as it harder to hook these days. You would think they would use some brain power and see that hooking the problem. Survivor running meta will wipe the floor with you. Don't think any devs play killer anymore and just survivor in my opinion. Now it appears they skipping content mid updates and doing patches they may or may not do as in the past they said they going to fix or nerf something and they never do. DBD devs talk a big game and never follow though. This anniversary bad and survivor sided and they could run builds that made your poison skill effects not work, and less cakes where gotten. They lied about it being the same and watching content creators do the math and played past events you could get way more cakes. They pointed it out and they will not own up to the lie they told. They should of extended it after the buff. Just starting to feel like the devs hate the killer player base and love survivor and the buffs and updates they do and not nerfing things is very survivor sided. I would say if you player killer, you better off quitting at this point and tell your friends and more to quit playing and the game will probably struggle or they would have to put ai killers in to keep game alive. Only way they probably learn if people just quit and stop spending. Just my opinion and observations over time.

The community ruins this game- along with the devs being Killer mains- this game will punish you for losing internet connection. Just not as fun as it could be. Not very enjoyable. Pass find something better, they don’t deserve your money. P.s. The Toxic Community is mostly Lgtbq+ so it is not very understanding why there is so much negativity and grossness in the community. Be warned you might break your tv or console, possibly the controller. Again would be better to get Zelda breath of the wild or even Fortnite over this game.

Me and my sister play this as a ritual together. She plays on switch and my on playstation. But it keeps disabling the switch for weeks on end. We have been waiting for weeks for it to be reenabled and then it just disabled it again today. After weeks of waiting!! Its extremely unprofessional and deeply infuriating when we both sign on after a long day just for it to not allow us to cross-play. Never have I played a game that disables cross play this much and enables it just for a short time to quickly disable it at the smallest issue. They need to fix it cause we play this game less and less now just cause of this issue. We had such a nice time playing yesterday after weeks of waiting and then we login today just for it to be disabled again. Extremely messed up and very very poor business practice. Hopefully this helps anyone interested in playing this game thru crossplay. Don't waste your time, play a different game.

Got the game a week ago and when im killer I got 2 prestige 100

as a killer player every game having to deal with getting flashbanged and them gen rushing its so boring

I would give this no tars, but I am not allowed to.

I have played this game for 300 hours which is not much, I have all the killers DLC included.

This is the worst game in general, extremely unbalanced if you want to play killer, the bugs are outrageous, no balancing in the survivor perks like Head on either, you can just spam it as well as other survive perks.

The game's balance is extremely disgusting if you are looking to play as Killer, you have cooldowns that are too long and prevent you from doing proper chases, stun lock animations that make you a victim to blinding or stunning in general, not to mention, the community is extraordinary toxic.

This game has brought me nothing but misery and I genuinely hope that it will indeed fail financially so it can be removed from any markets there is.

The events are even worse, the Black Banquet event allows survivors to tank an extra hit, receive a %50 speed boost and go completely invisible, the only killer that can go invisible is Wraith, and he is not even completely invisible, you can spot him and keep in mind, for him to uncloak, he has to ring his bell a few times.

This is indeed Kill by Daylight, of course, if you like bullying people and playing as a regular human being running around maps like a running simulator, enjoy!

If you however are a horror fan and would like to know what would it feel like to play as a Tyrant, Samara, A demon samurai or even Pyramidhead, this is NOT the game for you.

There is nothing enjoyable or scary other that the new term which came with this game which is Killer anxiety, the punishment you receive as a killer is outrageous, you miss a hit and you are unable to try again for another 5 seconds which allows the survivors to just complete the gens and leave, you get no points, no rewards and completing a match becomes impossible.

Not to mention, you will be stunned 5m away from the Pallet or Locker, the game has NO IDEA where your killer is most of the time and this allows for some survivor sided bugs.

Do not try this game, my review will be ignored the same way the developers ignore all of the problems with this game but please, don't try it, this game is addictive because it rewards you with any action you take because the core gameplay is boring, repetitive and soul sucking, there isn't a single moment of enjoyment or excitement which can be found in this game, your time is precious and shouldn't be wasted on anything like that.

If you are reading this after playing Killer, it's not your fault, you just wanted to have fun, go outside and connect with people, leave games like these behind where they belong.

It's literally ridiculous to expect every single one of your players to be gods at the game and just say constantly it’s a skill issue. some of your killers make the game literally unplayable it’s not fair to be stuck literally helpless because you keep adding super broken killers. How about you? Make the game fair for everyone. I’ve been playing this game for years at this point it’s become unplayable. I am good at the game and still experiencing these “ skill issues “ you can’t expect for everyone to have a perfect team ever you can’t expect everybody who starts the game to be perfect at the game Nerf, Jason, and give the survivor something for once. You have created a killer friendly game nothing for survivors.

i crash twice because of their horrible optimization

then i get banned for 5m the first time and the second 15m, literally unplayable. my pc is fine and doesnt crash in ANYTHING else.

Game's completely unbalanced. Sometimes the survivors don't have a chance against the killer, sometimes the killer doesn't have a chance against the survivors. I won't go into detail about balancing because you can look it up. Another annoying thing is the bans you get whenever you leave a match. The game gives you a free one like, idk once every 10 years and then if you have to do leave because of personal stuff, then you suffer a ban that can go from 10 minutes to 5 hours (depends on how many matches you leave). And the worst is that the ban starts only when you press the play button again, if you forget about your ban, the next time you open the game and get excited to play, you just won't be able to :)

So I have a internet reset every week for maintenance. When it goes out I get banned for having to shut my system off and reset my router. When playing survivor the killers are allowed to watch you just outside the stalking point on a hook, so they can continue to camp your hook without penalty. I believe with how long this game has been out and how many updates I've had to sit through for this tittle. It would be more comparable to both sides. Yet the game remains killer sided, and zero proper penalties set up.. ran into a hacker several times, a killer who could see my entire team through walls, we lost in under 3 minutes. Reported the account, reported the second the third and so on, just to run into the same 3 guys the next morning. Great game if you love to be mad, have zero faith for people, and can't help but despise a game for its set up and functionality. Thanks for reading...

Uninstalled the game after a 6/7 plus years of play - I DC too often as a honest survivor due to the killers either cheating which I report which thankfully gets resolved after a few days or the strong advantages most killers have against survivors. So un fun to play these days, that I legit had to uninstall! I hope people who experience the same will follow unless of course you are a cheat LOL.

Im 2VS8 Modus, muss man nicht nur mindestens eine halbe Std warten, ja man kann in der zwischenzeit als Überlebender spielen aber wenn man in der Killer Runde wenige Minuten davor rausgeschmissen wird und dann wieder einsteigt, kann man wieder über eine halbe Std. warten.

Auch in einer normalen Runde als Überlebender ist es Mühsam, diese Cheaterei von anderen Spielern, die sich immer wieder auf de Kosten von einem mit Blutpunken belehren wollen..
(Ein anderer Überlebender arbeitet mit einem Killer zusammen, man wird geritzt, vom Spieler wieder geheilt, wieder geritzt und immer so weiter) wenn man keine lust drauf hat und das Spiel abbeicht, wird man bestraft indem man eine Spielsperre bekommt, anfangs 5min dann immer länger, was soll der Schei*?!

Desde que existen las jodidas premade se hace aburrido, han arruinado el juego, ya no hay emocion como al principio, imposible competir con niñatos que juegan 24/7 y no trabajan versus el jugador casual que hechamos unas partidas despues del curro …..

Bin jetzt schon seit 5 Jahren dabei und habe im Mai 2021 angefangen. Und anfangs zwischen 2021 und 2022 war es noch recht cool. Aber als man 2023 die Survivor Perks 2x generft hat, wurde es noch toxischer als jemals zuvor. Anfang 2025 wollte Behavior ein Anti Slugging und ein Anti Tunnling System hinzufügen und ebenfalls ein verbessertes Anti Camping System. Aber als auf den Test Server (PTB) dann das Anti Slugging System, getestet wurde. Hat Behaivior Interactive (SCHON WIEDER) einen rückzieher gemacht. Also für jeden, der immer noch meint das spiel wäre überhaupt nicht Killer side. DOCH IST ES!!! Und ich bete mittlerweile nur noch zu Gott, das GTA 6 im Online Modus später gut genug sein wird. Das kein Mensch mehr bock haben wird, Dead by Daylight zu spielen. Denn von mir aus, können die dieses Toxische Game nur noch einstampfen. Zudem war ich auch schon mit Den Support von Behaivior auch schon persönlich in Kontakt. Wo man auch schon das gefühl hat, das die auch nur noch ihre texte als Copy paste, per E-mail versenden. Und gar nicht wirklich auf die Fragen und wünsche ihrer Community eingehen. Ich kann deshalb jeden nur da von abraten sich das spiel zu holen. Und auch ebenfalls nur da von abraten dort (IN-GAME) käufe zu tätigen. Denn wenn eure accounts erstmal dort gesperrt sind oder die Server eines Tages abgeschalten werden. Dann war es das. Und das Geld seit ihr los. Deshalb macht bitte keine (IN-GAME) käufe. Auch außerhalb von DBD.

This game is sooo rigged against you! It’s not even organic because the devs rigg everything, it’s pathetic/

Ein unfassbar schlechtes Spiel. Was jedoch größtenteils an den frechen Entwicklern liegt, die einen Sperren wenn man aus miesen Runden rausgeht oder einfach nicht mehr mitspielt. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Bloß kein Geld hierfür ausgeben!!!

Good things first:
1. There is a lot of variety in the game. Many items, mechanics, and a positive vibe overall. Asymmetric gameplay is something pretty distinct, and I enjoy it in the most part. The gameplay is designed to be enjoyable and I sense that the developers put a lot of effort in it.

Both Good and Bad:
1. The community: The community is remarkably non-toxic. In my experience, the majority of the players are friendly and well-rounded. But the fact that 2 big fans of the game that are my friends just sayin "tunneling is f@@n terrible and you should not do it because its toxic" is like sayin "Oh they shouldn't play the most recent champ in league of legends because its broken and toxic". Additionally, the fact that the producers frequently do little to stop "Tunneling" or any other game mechanic makes it a feature rather than a harmful one. But take that with a grain of salt because I don't know that much about perks.

Bad things:
1.I felt awful as a survivor when I was a new player. The game doesn't seem to want me there, even if I have to play it and spend hours in it.
2. The game is not fun. Straight up, all the mechanics and gameplay that takes part in it, does not fulfill me as a player. It just feels bad. But once again, that's my experience for my taste and it may differentiate from player to player.
3. The killers feel overpower (because the majority plays the "good killer". This was an issue that I had while playing. Most of the killers just felt overpowered and ruined my game.

To sum up,
I don't like it. The learning curve looks like a mountain, and I genuinely believe that it could have been a fantastic game with fantastic ideas, but if you don't know how to play at first, it becomes a dull, uninteresting simulator that takes away from the fun. The game is actually the opposite of welcome, however I wish I could git gud.

Llevo jugando desde el primer aniversario del juego. Al principio fue una novedad, y aunque hubo problemas con los hackers lo solventaron mayormente. Luego hubo problemas con mecánicas del juego y dijeron que las arreglarían, tras años sin arreglarlas, la gente se empezó a ir. Por primera vez tomaron medidas serias.
Ahora es jugable, pero el matchmaking es una porquería, una amiga que es nueva, en el 2vs8, nos ponemos de killers y nos sale gente que es extremadamente buena, conoce todos los sitios del mapa, timings y hasta mecánicas raras que les favorecen. Lo que ya me hizo enfadarme, fue que nunca en mis 3000h de juego, una trampilla aparecía bajo el pecho del survi que acabas de derribar. Eso no es suerte, es algo más. Yo les he dado 8 años de tiempo para arreglar el juego y hacerlo jugable. Me he cansado, no lo recomiendo mientras no lo arregles
