Appalling customer service and received the wrong product 3 times.
Upon request of a refund after returning the item by signed postage they have point blank refused for no reason

This company is corrupt
This company is corrupt. I ordered some specialised door handles at the cost of £130. The handles appeared gold on the website On arrival I opened ONE of the 3 boxes and instantly seen that the door handle was silver , this would not match my colour scheme so I contacted them to arrange a return, after several emails back and forth and a request for photos , they finally arranged my return. In the mean time I ordered the same handles in black as they would match better. At this stage I have spent £260 on handles for 3 doors.
I also spent £11 to return the handles as it was a heavy package.
Deanta have tried everything to refuse me of my refund, firstly saying they have not received them. Fortunately I had returned them signed for and had the proof. Then eventually they said they had them but said they where all damaged and would issue a refund !!!
They even sent photos of the damaged damaged handles ! I know this is a complete lie or they where already damaged as I never even opened the other 2 boxes , and the one I did was perfectly fine.
I will not be letting this go , I will contact every consumer rights , companies house and legal action. I am not being allowed to be ripped off by this company. I cant believe in this day and age this kind of thing happens . Disgusting, Deanta should be ashamed. This is fraud.

Glazed fire door was ordered on the…
Glazed fire door was ordered on the 21/10/25. Told it would take UPTO 20 days for delivery. Finally delivered today 21/1/26. 3 Months later. Dreadful communication from the out set, claimed they had glazing issues constantly. Would never order from here again. Not one to write reviews ever but this was an absolute joke!!

Excellent delivery service. Personal call from the delivery driver 24 hours in advance, on line delivery tracking accurate to the minute. Clive delivery driver very friendly, helpful and carried the doors into my garage. Perfect 100% satisfaction well done.

Placed an order for 5 doors in October
Placed an order for 5 doors in October, Doors eventually arrived just before Christmas, only 2 of the doors were correct so the others had to be returned, am now still awaiting the correct replacements, communication is appalling, I have emailed for an update 4 times with no response, I called 3 times yesterday and was told i would be called back but still nothing...!!! very disappointed..!

Delayed delivery
Although the product itself was fine, the delivery arrived well outside the agreed time slot. I contacted customer service three times and was repeatedly told “another half hour,” which was inaccurate each time.
Given the £35 delivery charge (excluding VAT) for a single door, I expected a much more reliable service. The delay meant I had to pay my builders to return the following day, resulting in additional and unnecessary costs.

Poor manufacturing on 2 out of 4 doors
Out of four pre-finished doors recently ordered through a supplier by my builder, two had defective finishes. These are obviously manufacturing defects as one has several what look like water marks underneath the finishing lacquer and one had a bobble/lump. My builder had a devil of a job to get EH Smith to take the first door back because they were attempting to skirt around the Consumer Goods Act by claiming any defects had to be reported within 3 days. I only spotted the second defect (the watermark effect) a week after the second door had been hung when the sunlight highlighted it. Given my contract is with the builder, and his contract is with EH Smith, I will have an uphill battle to claim my consumer rights to reject the door or accept a repair and then there will be the expense of who pays for the new door to be hung. While the law (and Deanta themselves when I called) says I have to go through the supplier, I am incensed as this whole debacle started with faulty manufacturing, I don't have the energy to fight this and 50% of the doors being faulty is not acceptable.
Deanta have replied to this review to say I need to go through the stockist which is exactly what they already told me and then they have a robust QC procedure. The point is their QC shouldn't have let these doors through in the first place and even if I didn't have to go through my builder and EH Smith to get redress, there's still the cost of rehanging the doors. Beautifully designed doors, which they should be for the high price, but if you buy them, just make sure they're closely inspected before they're hung.

Having taken delivery of our new Oak doors (Amalfi) the whole package from start to finish was fantastic.
Easy website to help us choose these beautifully crafted door for our Upper floor rooms.
Speed of delivery too was excellent & driver was very courteous by bringing them into the house for us.

First delivery all 3 doors were damaged and not surprised as the packaging was poor. Second delivery was to wrong address and for wrong doors and third time we had given specific instructions for doors to be delivered after a certain time to ensure someone could receive the doors and this was totally ignored by driver - terrible service and absolute disaster from start to finish
