Decking Supplies Reviews 

I ordered on the 17th April and was told 2 weeks for delivery due to covid-19, which I thought was very reasonable. After reading some of the the recent reviews I started to worry about my delivery and contacted them and was told delivery would be 11th of may, 4 weeks after ordering. However I recieved a call the following day and delivery was made today, 30th of April. So it took 2 weeks for delivery which during the current times is fantastic. Although I had no update about the order , I think it's hard to be critical as every business will be really stretched at the moment.

This company are taking orders that they can't fulfill in a reasonable time they are blaming the pandemic for this issue. If it's that bad stop taking orders until you can MANAGE IT PROPERLY it's all down to greed. I placed an order for over £600 and they said it be 7 to 10 working days so I gave them two weeks and thought I'd check for delivery update, email back blaming covid19 and it be another 2 to 3 weeks. Absolute joke, like I said stop taking people's money and deal with what you've got already. I've waited two weeks of a job I was doing on my house and thanks to decking supplies I've made no progress. AVOID!!

DO NOT RELY ON THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISAPPOINTED. At the start they seemed a decent company but they are completely unreliable. I placed an order for decking joists, paid for it and received confirmation of my order. Based on this information I then ordered the decking boards to complete my DIY project. However, due to my order not being “economical” for them they cancelled my order. I am now left with decking boards that I cannot fit.

This company I wouldn’t really say deserved one star, waiting two weeks with no email or update of delivery, constantly emailed and had back replies with no customer service what so ever. Then had a phone call after almost three weeks to be told they still have no idea where it is or how long it will take. They didn’t even know how long a refund would take. I actually questioned if they where a legit site. Cancelled order and went local. Please don’t use these guys

This company is based in both Glasgow and Wakefield, so if you are in the south of England like me, you will have to wait for your order. This is explained on their website, between 7 and 10 working days for delivery in my area. My order was confirmed almost instantly, explaining that they would keep me updated via email, one week later, I received confirmation of a delivery date, which would be 8 working days after placing the order. Their prices are very competitive and the timber received as good as you will find anywhere else. Order No. DS29650.

If you need your timber in a moderate to quick time and you live south of the border it is my experience that you will have to wait a minimum of 2 weeks (and then be told it will be delayed further as their transport couldn’t deal with it??) I had to continually chase them up as I never got updates and everyone I spoke to passed the buck... I will never deal with them again and actually cancelled my order and got it locally.
