Amazing experience from the start to finish. I was looked after every step of the way!

Updated: I maintain that DB offers exceptional care while in Bangkok. However, post care questions or concerns are not managed as well as I would have expected. At exit, the patient is provided a guide and a support link. Honestly, these emails should be acknowledged or answered within 24 hours. So far, this is not my experience; I can only imagine some of the concerns they receive, including mine. A response is a peace of mind someone is taking this as seriously as I am. Until I receive the answers to my three questions, I will maintain 3 stars. 1 less for the response, 1 less for the lack of coordination between the marketing, care and support teams.

I selected DB because of the women on a FB group speaking highly of the organization.
Having reached out to some of them, I decided to jump.

The entire process was fairly seamless. I was picked up a the airport. I was checked into a lovely 4 star long stay hotel. The staff there was wonderful and attentive. I was transported to the hospital and guided through all pre operative events (1 hour: covid test, X-ray, EEG, consult with the anesthesiologist). The hospital was modern, clean, snd well staffed. I felt very well cared for. The only exception was in pre-op, I can see where some folks might be scared or worried. The staff was all business with little interaction other than procedural.
Care post op was good, I was checked on frequently. Only one time I needed to push a few times for a dose of pain med.
I was retuned back to my hotel, and from there, the ladies I met became my support group and we celebrated our new journeys together.
It is important to remember the follow the guidance provided pre op for a successful post op.
I was in a foreign country, processes are different than the US, contact is mostly with nursing staff, o did not see the doc right away, it was 7 days post op. Important to note that nursing staff are embedded within the hotel, that is a great comfort.
We took full advantage of Bangkok and would often take off on foot and go exploring, the door men knew our names, and were very good at providing directions, recommendations, or calling a taxi. They were real gems. Always with a smile.
The only hiccup in my review was, I never had a consult with the doctor from home, when it happened in Bangkok, Dr. NJ suggested a couple of procedures to enhance my results. I was fine with this, but, I was required to pay that evening for the procedures next day. I would suggest tge consult should be done two days before surgery to allow thoughtful discussion and financial arrangement.
I would say to anyone that I recommend this service, wholeheartedly. I wish I needed additional work done!

Excellent experience through DB. Just returned home from ETT/BLBA with Dr ring. The hospital staff were amazing, professional and very responsive. Kept me very comfortable post op and never had to wait long if I needed to press the call buzzer. The only suggestion I have for the hospital stay was the support person bed was hard as a rock and my mum was really uncomfortable through the stay. So that was the only issue we had which the nurses tried to help with providing extra blankets to put down. Perhaps they could look into alternative beds if known in advance support person will be staying in hospital. But otherwise excellent care overall from the whole team.
The stay in Somerset was beautiful, massive rooms, friendly staff, super clean and modern. Destination beauty had all of the transfers to and from airport/hospital and hotel organised wonderfully. Overall excellent experience, will return in a few years and have my teeth done and midface/neck lift :)

I recently used Destination Beauty and couldn't fault the service and care I received. From the initial pick-up at the airport to having my bags personally taken to the airline check-in counter for my trip home everything went smoothly. All the staff are efficient, friendly and knowledgeable and nothing is to much trouble. I was contacted frequently and provided with clear instructions for upcoming appointments. Any questions or concerns were addressed promptly. Travelling solo for surgery is daunting, but you can trust these guys. I have no hesitation in recommending Destination Beauty.

5 Star service from the Hospital & the Hotel, Transfers for you & your support person. The Dr & Nurses are so good, they make sure you understand everything & answer any questions you may have. I would highly recommend anyone considering surgery to be 100% assured that Destination Thailand would be my 1st choice every time. You would not be disappointed with any aspect of this important journey. I am 100% happy with my results & if I needed anything in future I would choose them again without hesitation.

I felt well informed, safe & secure with the entire process (I went alone to Thailand). The support has been amazing - prior, during and after my trip. Destination Beauty is a very professional and trustworthy company, with exceptional staff, from the drivers to the surgeons. Everyone was fantastic. This was my second trip to Bangkok through Destination Beauty, and both experiences have been excellent.

I love how you are looked after right from the start. I had the best rep, Kate who was very good at communicating anything that I needed to know. Then to fly to Bangkok and get picked up and dropped off at the hotel . It was a relief not to have to worry about organising it yourself. I think the best thing about coming to destination. Beauty is meeting all the wonderful people including other like-minded people who are in Thailand for the same reason I was there for. And all the staff are so kind and generous. I felt safe in Thailand. It’s a big thing going across the world to have surgery but it was worth it. I’ll never forget my time here. In fact I’ve been here twice and you should never say never.

From my initial communications with my representative Yada, through to my Dr, Dr Weerachai, the nurses and staff at Destination Beauty, my experience has been nothing but amazing.
I had a 360 tummy tuck, breast lift and augmentation. I am more than happy with my results. Dr Weerachai explained the process and the expected outcomes. He checked in with me at the hospital regularly. The care I have received has been next level. The nurses at
Samitivej are so caring and reassuring. Anything I needed in hospital the nurses were always there to help.
After discharge it was very reassuring to have nurses visit the motel, but also have the ability to catch the shuttle bus back to the hospital clinic if needed.
Somerset Motel is lovely and there are many great restaurants and shops within walking distance. The staff at the motel are attentive and friendly. The breakfast is next level.
Destination Beauty takes care of you every step of the way. From transfers, to nurse visits, and everything in between.
I am now 4 weeks out from my operations and my healing journey has been perfect.
If you are considering Destination Beauty I say go for it.

The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The nurses were wonderful and I was well looked after. I had a breast lift without implants and I am 5 weeks post with such amazing results! Dr Angkana did such an amazing job with the surgery with fine and precise stitches. When I got back to Australia I had nurses mention they'd never seen such perfect stitching. I'm so grateful I went to Thailand and to Destination Beauty with Dr Angkana for the surgery

Great staff and great accomodation and beautiful atmosphere

I had a mid facelift, endoscopic brow lift, neck lift, chin lift & ETT. I underestimated how hard this would be and struggled mentally and physically after the first operation but the Dr delayed my next surgeries and took my health into consideration rather than his timetable which was great. My results have been fantastic and the Dr was very honest with what I needed. Dr Ring was my surgeon and I would highly recommend Dr Ring. I have nothing but good things to say about the whole process.

I cannot recommend Destination Beauty highly enough. From the very first enquiry and quote right through to my recovery and leaving Thailand, the entire experience was absolutely amazing.

I travelled for an extended tummy tuck, liposuction (x2), breast lift, breast augmentation, and an arm and side lift with Dr Angkana, and I felt supported every single step of the way. The team at Destination Beauty were incredibly organised, professional, and genuinely caring. No question ever felt like too much, and they always made sure I felt informed, comfortable, and confident in my decisions.

Very well organised pre-op tests, was impressed with everything tested & the results coming back so quickly. Nurse Aom was a god send & provided a lot of reassurance. Communication can sometimes be a barrier & you have to be prepared for things to change, my surgeon was sick when I arrived & I only found out after pre-op which couldn’t be help but I was grateful the other surgeon stepped in.
There seemed to be a disconnect between the ward team & clinic team around care & you really needed to be across your own situation rather than rely on good handovers between the two.
The hotel was great, well set up, with wonderful staff & situated in a really good area but the hospital food was definitely something that could be improved, hot meals were always cold & sometimes inedible, after 8 days in hospital it was my main motivation to get up & moving to get down to Starbucks haha!!

Great experience and very happy with my results. Staff are friendly even with the language barrier. All in all a great experience and would recommend.

I recently travelled with Destination Beauty for a procedure, and overall my experience was a very positive one.

From the very beginning, the communication prior to booking was impeccable. I was provided with clear, helpful information, all questions were answered thoroughly, and at no point did I feel pressured. Everything was explained in a way that made me feel comfortable and confident in moving forward.

Upon arrival, I was picked up from the airport and all transfers between the airport, hospital and hotel were seamless. The organisation throughout the trip was excellent and removed any stress from travelling for surgery.

My pre-operative experience at Ruamjairak Hospital was very thorough. The consultation with Dr Jatuporn was relatively short and felt somewhat hurried; however, the nursing team more than made up for this. The post-operative nurses were incredibly caring, thoughtful and supportive throughout my entire stay.

Ruamjairak Hospital itself felt luxurious. Having my own large private room with a lounge, coffee table, large television and even a small kitchenette with microwave, kettle, tea and coffee made a real difference — especially when you just want a quiet cup of tea while recovering.

Back at the hotel, I particularly appreciated the thoughtful appointment notes slipped under my door each evening outlining the next day’s schedule. That small detail made everything feel organised and reassuring during recovery.

Now that I am home, the support has continued. I am able to liaise directly with the nurses through a dedicated Facebook Messenger group, and they respond in a timely and helpful manner to any post-operative questions.

All in all, the entire experience was positive, well organised and supportive from start to finish. I would absolutely return in the future and would highly recommend Destination Beauty to anyone considering surgery abroad.

I have a very good experience in Destination Beauty from the day i inquired, decide,book my surgery all the way from picking us up to the Airport and coming back to Australia, there teams are amazing from drivers, hotel staffs, nurses and doctors.
