Right price, parts as promised. But the shipping—oh, the shipping was lightning fast.
Ordered four different sets of fittings three each. Orb x JIC. 6’s and 8’s and NPT x JIC 6’s and 8’. Whoever pulled the order sent me only the orb x Jic 6’s and then even though the 1 bag was labeled properly, I received two sets of NPT x Jic 8’s and 1 set of 6’s. The bag part numbers were all right just to pull the parts stuck the wrong parts in one of the bags so I have 60 one fitting and they’re useless. The three of them are in the job had to be done so I had to go buy them somewhere else and cost me a fortune so yeah, I’m not doing this again

Candace has no problem flat-out lying to you to try to avoid having to make things right. I placed an order on the 13th of February. It was an emergency, and I spoke with them on the phone and was assured that they would put the order at the top of the pile, and ship it USPS so that I would receive it on Saturday the 15th.
They issued a tracking number on the 14th, and there was zero movement on it, so I reached out to them yesterday on Tuesday the 18th to ask them to cancel my order, and an hour and a half after I sent the email, they conveniently gave my item to USPS, and the tracking updated to show it was "accepted by USPS.".
I emailed them again this morning, and Candace is flat-out lying and saying that they finished the order and gave it to USPS on the 14th and that they've been sitting on the package since that time. This is what they're going to claim to try and avoid fixing their mistake.
I own a business and ship thousands of packages every month. USPS not only scans everything the day they receive it; they don't sit on packages at a local post office for 4 days. I asked again to have them intercept and cancel the order, but they're refusing. So I will be calling my credit card company and filing a chargeback. Do not do business with this company!
Ordered 11 hoses on 12/30/24. On 1/14/25 I called to check the ordered. They hadn't made it yet because of one backordered part. I asked that they please make what they could and send the back ordered part later. A week later I get call saying their machine is broken and they can't make the hoses as ordered. Came up with an alternative. Then the hoses finally shipped on 1/24/25. Checked tracking several times. USPS says the package is in transit, but no update in several days. Called again. Customer Service (Candace) told me that I would have to work with the postal service to find them because they fulfilled their obligation when the hoses shipped. They refuse to do anything else. They said my only option was to order (and pay for) more hoses! REALLY?!?!?! I didn't arrange shipment, they did. I never received the hoses. My recommendation - stay as far away from this company as possible.
These people sent the wrong part and refused to send return shipping! I sent a video of myself measuring there part showing proof positive they sent the wrong part. They send I would have to pay the return shipping! So, if you want to be stuck paying shipping for their mistake, then order from them!
Placed an order for two hydraulic hose assemblies on 12/7/24 and was notified of backorder status on 12/9/24. Since these are needed for a snowplow, and it is now winter, the parts are needed ASAP. Filled out a help ticket on their customer service page only to discover that the submit button is deactivated. I now wish that I had taken my business elsewhere.
IMHO, Absolutely the worst hydraulic hose company on the face of the planet, horrible customer service, extremely low quality customer service, Woman in customer service was the one of the most ignorant people I’ve ever communicated with she lacked knowledge , had to explain myself over and over and over and she still didn’t understand, wouldn’t stop talking over me etc etc… lacking in professionalism, then a man named Ted was even worse totally incompetent lacking in professionalism, or how to grow a company … he did everything it would take to shrink a company, if I could give this Company a 0 star I would have … don’t waste your time
This is a total Mickey Mouse outfit to say the least I've been trying to order these fittings for over 2 months I have been lied to every step of the way I have been told they'd be here in 7 days I have told they'd be back ordered I have been promised to be called never was I was promised a shirt and shipping date several different times never showed finally my fittings show up and I ordered 30 and received 25 and they never notified me never anything in the Box nothing I had to chase them down to find out why I only received a partial order and then I get nothing but attitude back ask to speak with the manager a boss supposedly there isn't one
Have used this company for some time. Have always been happy with the products and service. Clearly something has drastically changed. The most recent order was placed on March 19th. Continued the show pending. Tried every method available to get in touch with somebody finally on Easter the operations person responded by way of their Facebook page. Said he would look into it. Try it again on April 1st to get any contact with somebody as it now showed shipped. Finally after a half a day actually spoke to a live person. They're telling me that the order was canceled as I have asked repeatedly over the last week. She said I will go out and find the package and call you back. I said that will not be necessary just simply cancel the order your customer service is awful. I okay click
Other than shipping, everything you guys supply is great and the purchase is always smooth. I do not like the delay from time of purchase to time of shipment.
Shipping time is very slow. After a week of waiting I tried to contact them to cancel and the site contact form didn't work. I did finally get in touch and of course when they did respond they said it had already shipped.
ordered a set of hydraulic hose assemblies on 11/8/23 order #414753. After a few weeks I tried to get in contact by phone Nov 8th, Nov 29th, Dec 6, and Dec 18th. Never got in touch or got a call back. Their website started working again mid Dec so sent and email. was told an item was on back order. Checked on my order status today 1/30 to find it canceled. This company has terrible communication.
No mention of items not in stock, it is now multiple months in and I have gotten no info without asking for it and have to resubmit the order because they no longer have authorization. Not sure if I will ever get the parts to be honest.
This has been an ongoing cluster. I have tried working with the customer service center and continue to get jerked around. First, reaching a live customer service associate takes numerous attempts a various hours of the day. Usually the 800 number goes to a voicemail box, leave a message and you will never get a call back, that is the only guarantee you get from DH. Even more frustrating is if you try to submit a customer service through their email template, once you have spent 10 minutes writing a detail account of every step you've taken to get your order, when you click the submit button, the webpage sends back this message "Error: Form processing halted for suspicious activity!" No joke, it doesn't matter what you type into the Name, email and message box, it's always the same error. So I have gone ahead and attached the email I tried to send, for your reading pleasure. This order was shipped incomplete, missing item no. FJX-04-05 (qty. 14). The original order (410959) was placed on Oct 2. I was informed the part in question was back ordered but would arrive in just a few days. Order 410959 was eventually shipped 3 weeks later on Oct. 25, without item FJX-04-05, FS6403-04-04 or FJX-04-04. When I finally reach someone in customer service, I was told the missing items where in the shipping department would be shipped the following day. However the new order (1030891) was not shipped until Nov. 3 and received Nov. 7. This shipment once again was missing the part FJX-04-05 (qty. 14). Once again I called customer service the following morning and was told that the missing parts where in fact at that very moment boxed up and in the process of being shipped and that I would receive the shipping conformation email the following day. Now 12 day later, no shipping conformation, no package. I have been purchasing parts and supplies from Discount Hydraulic for over 10 years, with no complaints or issues, but this past order has been extremely frustrating, to say the least.
Please refund my account the cost for the missing FJX-04-05.

ordered hose made asslembly and 7 days go by and then i get an email stating they do not have the hose when i try to pull the order and get it else were they don,t answer the phone or email . They are trying to hold orders. Not good. They say they can,t keep inventory live on web but they want you to order on the web site then you are stuck as you can not contact them.
Company stole my debit card and immediately made 5-6 fraudulent charges over night adding up to over $500.
I have been waiting on my order since August 20 and have still not gotten it not sure what is going on. I’ve never had any problems with them before it is now September 10.
