The invisible fence really works

The invisible fence really works. Our dog learned the boundary very quickly and now, with or without the fence collar, he never strays from the yard.

We also got a "no bark" collar and taught him to stop the long strings of barking. He learned that pretty quickly too. Great company, and a Genius dog!

So much for lifetime replacement!

My dog's collar broke and I was advised that there was a $50 charge, unless it was less than 2 years old. When I purchased this product I was assured that it came with a lifetime replacement and no mention of a less than 2 years old policy.
I haven't had a chance to go back and pull the original agreement, but I will. Also, I was never advised of any change in policy prior to this incident.
I will be doing additional reviews of this bait and switch tactic.

Update:
Dealer reached out. I still contend there was no mention of time frames, such as the "free replacement withing 2 Years." or "dealer service charges" and shipping and handling. I don't mind paying any incurred shipping cost, if I'm unable to pick it up, but let's face it, a $50 fee is rediculous.
While I'm at it, let me say that the digital service extremely sliw and usually reports any issues with the equipment after I have already resolved it, including warnings of Pets pushing the limits of the perimter or breaches. Another example is no warning of a low battery until after battery is dead and by then I have already replaced it because I saw the light change colors. This may be the last time I bother with future DogWatch Products or repairs.

Hi Calvin - We are sorry to hear about your broken receiver. We have contacted your local DogWatch Dealer, and he will be following up with you. We do include a lifetime Warranty on the receiver and transmitter and will replace if they are not working (i.e., “found to be defective by reason of improper workmanship and /or materials…”). We even replace them if they fail due to a lightning surge or because of the dog chewing on the receiver. The warranty is printed on the back of the Customer Order Form and can easily be found on our website (https://www.dogwatch.com/customer-resources/outdoor/outdoor-warranty/). Having said that, all warranty claims may be subject to dealer service charges and or manufacturer shipping and handling charges.
