I went to Izmir to have a gastric sleeve. Dr Erol and his team were very good informative at all times organising my transport and stays in hospital making sure i arrived home safely and still keeping in touch. From start to finish had a great expereance Dr Erol and his team .they lead me through the hole prosess from start to finish they kept me informed and and i felt very safe in there hand operation went great and after care was second to none .I was looked after from airport to airport and follow up at home continues id highly recommend .

Ich hatte meine OP bei Dr. Mustafa Erol. Ich bin ihm wirklich sehr dankbar, weil er mich auch Menthal sehr viel unterstützt hat. Er hat mit ein neues Leben ermöglicht. Er war immer bemüht vor und nach der OP, das es mir immer gut geht. All meine Fragen wurden sehr ausführlich beantwortet. Meine ganzen Sorgen und Ängste die ich vor der OP hatte, waren alle umsonst. Ich kann Herr DR. Mustafa Erol wirklich nur empfehlen. Hätte ich gewusst, das alles so gut verlaufen würde, hätte ich meine OP vorher schon bei Ihm machen lassen. By the time I was ready to go for my surgery; I was 90% sure I had made the right decision and my nerves were calmed over the phone by Berfen (translator and go to person - really lovely lady; she will still be in contact with you when you get home which means a lot).
I went with my sister-in-law as a companion. It is nice to have a familiar face but if you don't have one; it doesn't matter because everyone is super attentive. The nurses, doctors, staff, the taxi drivers who will transport you from airport to hospital and hotel are extremely compassionate.
I had my surgery on the 19th of January so I am in my 2nd week post op. I feel very well, incision sites are healing well. I was not asked for payment until all test results had come through and I was fit for surgery.
I am saving the best for last- Dr Mustafa Erol - the smile and kindness in his voice and bedside manner - he is like a dad. He will take you through everything and answer all your questions.
Dr Erol knows his stuff!! He is so calm and that made me feel I was in good hands. You might get the opportunity to see him in the operating theatre sitting down reading through notes and listening to music. His technical skills are exceptional, he is empathetic and is a man with high emotional intelligence.
The most important thing is do your homework because there are so many good surgeons in Turkey but not many "skilled surgeons"
Unless they change- just know that you are in the hands of the best!

Die Entscheidung zu Dr.Erol zu fahren war die beste meines Lebends. Von der top Beratung,über den Reiseverlauf,der Op in einen sehr guten Krankenhaus bis hin zum abschluss Hotel was sehr zentral in Izmir gelegen ist war es super hier. Kann es nur jeden empfehlen der es vorhat und wirklich möchte.

I had my surgery on September 22 with Dr. Mustafa Erol. From the initial consultation to my discharge, I felt very well cared for, both professionally and personally. Everything was clearly explained, decisions were justified transparently, and there was plenty of time for questions.

A special thank you to Berfin for her great support—from scheduling appointments to preparation and follow-up care. Her quick availability, helpfulness with organizational matters, and calm, friendly manner gave me a great deal of confidence.

The surgery itself went smoothly. The procedure was well organized, the team was attentive, and the pain management was well coordinated. The first few days after the operation were easy to manage thanks to the clear instructions.

I am now back in Germany and healing is progressing as expected. Any questions I had were answered quickly, which made me feel well looked after even from a distance.

Ich wurde am 22.09.25 von Dr. Mustafa Erol in Izmir operiert und bin begeistert. Auf Instagram wurde ich aufmerksam habe mir alles genauestens durchgelesen, nachgeforscht und habe binnen 3 Tagen mich dazu entschlossen, nach einer hervorragenden Kommunikation über WhatsApp mit der liebevollen Assistentin Berfin ❤️ mein Ticket zu buchen und mich einem Gastric Sleeve (Schlauchmagen) zu unterziehen. Viele Jahre hatte ich es hier versucht über die Krankenkasse aber es scheiterte an dem BMI. Von Hannover nach Izmir direkt in die Klinik die ich auf Etage 2 besonders in Erinnerung halten werde, gingen alle Tests schnellstens über die Bühne, nicht ohne lange Wartezeiten und Mangel an Terminen wie in Deutschland. Ich wurde herzlichst empfangen liebevoll versorgt und fühlte mich dank berfin an meiner Seite sehr wohl. Ebenso meine Begleitperson für die während des Krankenhaus Aufenthaltes natürlich auch liebevoll gesorgt worden ist. Wir hatten ein komfortables großes sauberes Zimmer! Die Schwestern waren sehr liebevoll. Alles versprochene vor der OP wurde auch eingehalten vom, Transfer- Hotel in Izmir - und einem herzlichen Arzt der mit seiner ruhigen und warmherzigen Art sofort mein Herz eroberte und mein Vertrauen gewann. Er ist so lieb und nimmt sich Zeit für die Patienten und hilft einem dabei keinen Stress zu bilden sondern sich einfach nur in sicheren Händen zu fühlen. Alles verlief super reibungslos und ich hatte eine super angenehme Erfahrung. Nun bin ich 8 Tage Post OP und seit genau einer Woche aus dem Krankenhaus entlassen und wieder in der Heimat. Mir geht es super, haben keine Probleme weder mit den Narben noch mit sonstigen. Ich bin Doc. Mustafa Erol sehr dankbar für die liebevolle Arbeit und Fürsorge. Ich stehe stets in Kontakt mit meiner liebsten Berfin die mir weiterhin zur Seite steht und auch ihn in alles mit einbezieht. Den größten Lob und Dank an Berfin und vor allem Doc. Mustafa Erol ❤️ ich kann jedem diesen Arzt und sein Team wärmstens empfehlen.

Hallo Miteinander, ich bin eine alleinerziehende Mutter mit 3 Kindern und und hatte schon immer mit meinem Übergewicht zu kämpfen. Auch wenn ich mal abgenommen hatte waren kurzer Zeit später die ganzen Kilos auf meinen Hüften wieder drauf. Daher recherchierte ich schon länger auch über eine Magenschlauch OP, mir fehlte nur noch die Mut dazu. Da meine Heimatstadt nähe Izmir ist bin ich auf Dr. Mustafa Erol gestoßen und hab mich um weitere Infos zu holen mit Merve in Verbindung gesetzt. Eigentlich wollte ich mir ein Termin im August geben lassen wobei die Merve mich so sehr überzeugt hat, dass ich die OP schon am 14.Juni vorgezogen habe. Es wurde vor der OP von Blutabnahme bis EKG, von Ultraschall Untersuchungen bis Ernährungsberater alles abgecheckt und zum Schluss mit dem
Dr. Mustafa Erol bis ins Detail durchgesprochen. Nach der OP ist man Üblicherweise etwas angeschlagen und somit mehr am schlafen. Verspürt hab ich nur eine Übelkeit die am 2Tag schon minder und am 3 Tag gar nicht mehr war. Am 3Tag wurde ich im sehr gutem Zustand schmerzfrei entlassen und in ein kleines gemütliches Hotel gefahren damit ich noch viel Zeit zum Bummeln hatte. Ich bin sehr Zufrieden wieder nach Hause zurück gekehrt und kann es mit 5Sternen wirklich nur weiterempfehlen. Nochmal danke für alles an das tolle Team.

I had my operation on the 16th of May, everything went smoothly and the whole staff of the hospital was very helpful. Dr. Mustafa was visiting every day and he was really helpful and answered all my questions and concerns. I want to thank also to Merve , she was available every single time I needed her. Now a week later I lost almost 11kg, I was able to go back to my normal routine on the 4th day after the surgery, I was back to work and I am feeling more than great. One more time- dr. Mustafa THANK YOU, you helped me to get back to myself.
