We asked DES to clean our solar panels. Four of which are located on the side of the house - with limited room to gain access. The DES guys had to somehow manoeuvre the van down the drive and raise the cherry picker - carefully avoiding the telephone cable. Great job - many thanks.

We brought a house with 12 solar panels just over a month ago. We knew the panels were not serviced or cleaned since installed 10 years ago (2013)
We reached out to DES Ltd who completed a full service and cleaning service.
Not only was the job done to a high standard but the knowledge shared and showing us how the system worked has be valuable.

Had a really good experience with DES. Their quote was the more reasonable by far and their lead time shorter. The work they did was done quickly, neatly and to a high standard. The electrician who attended was a lovely guy and clearly very knowledgeable. Only giving 4 stars as there was some miscommunication between the person who quoted for the job and the electrician who attended. This caused a bit of a delay and left me feeling a bit uncertain. BUT all was sorted in the end and I’m really pleased with the work they did.

I wanted a PIV system to help with the condensation issues in my house. The engineer came when expected, was friendly and polite, informative and tidied up well after himself. Everything is working lovely.

Excellent installation of Positive input Ventilation unit. Jake from DES turned up early and did a great job installing our new PIV unit. The job included all necessary wiring and protections and he carried out full safety checks on completion - very professional. I’d read some good reviews about DES and was impressed when the MD came out to inspect our home for installing a PIV system and bathroom and kitchen extractors fans. Jason was friendly and professional, which set the tone for all my dealings with DES. He arrived at lunchtime, and I had a quote for the works by email that same evening. Tina in the office arranged everything with ease and Matt and Kaylem who carried out the work could not have worked harder throughout the day of installation. They took the time to explain what they were going to do, then calmly and quietly just got on an did it. At the end, after cleaning every surface thoroughly, they then spent time testing the equipment and then showed me how it all worked. Smashing guys who did a first-class job with a smile on their faces. I would definitely recommend DES to anyone wanting electrical works.

Dorset Electrical Solutions was great find after so many disappointing false starts with sub standard Solar companies. Cannot rate them enough, appointments kept on time, support first class and the installation of my ground mount solar system was well up to my expectations. One of the best points is that the quote for the work was exactly what they charged (none of those "extras" that other firms want to add once they start the installation). Excellent backup with all the permits and paperwork taken care of professionally. Pre/post installation help and advice honest and accurate.

DES stepped in to help with our SolaX battery installation when our previous supplier went bust. They couldn’t have been more helpful, not only finishing the install, but helping us sort out the DNO paperwork mess left by the previous company who had also installed our solar panels. The final work is just as we wanted it, and we even got DES to fit a Zappi charger at the same time. Now all working perfectly - clean, free energy for the house, and also for the cars as well! Would def recommend!

If you are looking for an electrical contractor capable of offering total satisfaction in meeting your realistic requirements, this company must be at the top of your list. Not only is the principal of this company an absolute pleasure to deal with, but he has obviously ensured that each of his employees also understands the advantage of maintaining good client relationships. DES (Dorset Electrical Solutions) was highly recommended to me by a friend who had had a PIV (Positive Input Ventilation) unit supplied and fitted by them. I had already purchased a PIV but contacted DES and they were more than happy to fit it for me and arranged for it to be fitted a week later. From start to finish I was very impressed with the professionalism of the whole team and the after service that is offered. I feel incredibly confidant that my PIV unit will serve me well for years to come and if I experience any issues, I know that DES are only a phone call away. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend DES.
