I joined Doug’s program expecting real coaching, business-building support, and community accountability. What I received was a carefully-scripted funnel pretending to be something it wasn’t — and when Doug asked why I said I would be "proceeding with caution" before I could finish expressing my concern and what I needed that I didn't get, I was silenced, insulted, and banned from his Skool community and given a full refund..

Here’s what really got me:
By Day 3, we were told to leave a review to help keep a “perfect score.”
If we kept a perfect score, we’d possibly win 1-on-1 coaching or collaboration within Doug's Community.
That review wasn’t optional — it was framed as a requirement for us to keep our perfect score but the reality of it was to keep the community's 100% Skool rating (A goal Doug openly mentioned with pride in the training).

So while we’re pretending the support is live... Pretending other community members are watching and engaging at the same time..
Pretending the AI bot is fully trained to guide us…
Pretending this isn’t just recycled Traffic Secrets chapters dressed up as coaching…

Should I pretend my business is real too? Pretend I have clients? Pretend I’m not trying to actually change my life? Pretend recycled templates, surface-level inspo, and a few workbooks are enough to feed my family and pay my bills?

And to be fair, YES — the workbooks, were helpful for structuring an offer, and they could be great for a complete beginner. But that’s not the reason I joined.
I came for coaching, community, mentorship, and to learn the backend of running a Skool community — not just documents and disappointment.

Let’s be honest.

What was promised:
✅ Real coaching, mentorship, and community
✅ Real Step-by-step guidance to launch a business
✅ Real Ongoing support — not just “access”

What was delivered:
❌ A chatbot (that still isn’t fully trained — and it’s not the bot’s fault)
❌ A 7-day window to ask questions, then silence
❌ Pressure to leave a glowing review before any real transformation
❌ No clear roadmap, no accountability, and no follow-up
❌ Kicked out of the group after expressing concern and asking for help I needed.

I came into this program ready. I’ve invested in myself before and have had many real coaching experiences.
This just wasn’t one of them.

If you're looking for funnel theory, buzzwords, and polished packaging — this might be perfect.
But if you're trying to build a real business and need real support, I couldn't find it here..

I'm leaving this review because people deserve the truth, not just the highlight reel.

I joined the Community Ascension Workshop because I was tired of doing all the work without real results. My favorite part was learning the Community Ascension Model — a hands-off system that turns free members into paying clients 24/7.

I also loved the community engagement. Doug creates a space where you feel supported, seen, and equipped. If you're ready to grow a community that converts, this workshop is a must.

I absolutely can’t recommend Doug and his trainings enough!
The amount of high level information, clarity and calmness he brings with his teachings are just incredible!
For anyone on the fence about joining any of his programs, workshops or trainings, DO IT! You will absolutely not regret it!

I've had a great experience working through the Community Ascension Workshop and learnt a huge amount. It will speed up the time to having a successful community on Skool.

I signed up for the workshop because I have take Doug's challenges and workshops in the past and they are always filled with so much value that by the end you leave with so much more than he said he would give you! Doug is always thorough, tries to answer all your questions, and makes his workshops fun and engaging, plus you learn a lot!

My favorite part or biggest takeaway is that you don't need to have a huge following to build a community and that people don’t just buy your offer. They buy what it gives them. They want results, speed, and to feel sure it will work. Your system helps them get what they want faster and with less stress. When you make it easy to follow and show proof it works, people trust you more. That’s how you stand out and make real impact.

So if your looking to build a community and want someone who wont just leave you to the wolves follow Doug! Don't wait just jump right in I promise you wont be disappointed.

I signed up for the workshop because DOUG always has a way of finding the new GAP in marketing as everything evolves. He always has his finger on the pulse, and yet again I was right, Because this Challenge is Incredible! I have learned so much about how to take a dead cold lead and take them on a journey to their own Ideal outcome in a way that doesn't seem salesy, but instead comes from a place of servitude. This is the best model I have ever seen for accelerating the lead-to-client timeline. So thank you so much Doug and team for making this possible by being innovators.

I signed up for their workshop and so far not disappointed. Already moved through some blocks that I knew I had to get over and I am ready!

So far as above, happy to be ready to ascend for me but mostly for those who I help to ascend.

If you are considering joining, it's very inexpensive for what you get and it is showing the model that works. I'd say do it!

I've been learning from Doug and the Community Creators Club team on how to setup, manage and grow my community in order to support parents worldwide. I can definitively recommend their training (lots of free content available) if you're thinking of growing a community.

I signed up for this workshop to learn how to scale my business and create a HT offering! Doug and his team delivered that and more! The support is wonderful and the community is an amazing space to connect with others! I highly recommend this program to anyone who is seeking a professional coach that helps you implement actionable steps toward s your success!

Doug is great at taking concepts and explaining them in simple and important steps along with his over delivery of tools that he has been always known for.

Doug provides so much very valuable content, and in my opinion does a very good job of visualizing it for you rather than just preaching. I personally appreciate his webinars because they are easy to follow and the real life examples and screenshots help me contextual what I’m learning, which makes it easier for me to start earning!

Doug makes complex topics simple. His practical step by step approach is both super effective and easy to follow. I highly recommend his programs and coaching!

I was recommended to this workshop by a friend I met on another Skool group. I'm only just finishing session 3, and I can't tell you how helpful the High Ticket Ascension Workshop is. It's such a well-thought-out process so far, and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of doing High-Ticket Selling.

Loving Doug's simple processes. I learned so much without being overwhelmed as he takes everything in bite-sized, easy-to-follow chunks - I love it! I'm happy I found this training - my community will benefit from every word!

I am really enjoying the workbook that goes along with this training. I do feel like he has put in a lot of effort to teach his methods to make them understandable and actionable.

By day three of the workshop I was able to clearly identify my ideal client, price my offer and have a framework for how to implement it. It was self-paced but I was eager to complete the 5 day workshop in the time frame. I am excited to take my business to the next level.

Doug is very well spoken and truly cares about his students. He is clear in his teaching and makes sure nobody is left behind. Very refreshing. I have been mesmerized by the teaching and I'm excited that it is recorded to allow for binge watching.
