We welcome all feedback, both good and bad, however untruth’s is something we will not stay quite about, so here is our version so you get a rounded picture of this.
We did receive an email 5 days after the bed was installed asking about a shelf and a scratch, this is true.
When we had a telephone conversation with the Customer and we pointed out that on the day of delivery the Customer fully inspected the bed and was happy with its build, quality and finish. The Customer was so happy in fact, she signed the paperwork confirming this, made no notes regarding any faults or scratches, and made the balancing payment. It took the Customer a week to get back to us regarding the matter she raised. 5 days after receiving the bed anyone could of made that scratch on the bed.
On the telephone call, Chris informed the Customer that as almost a week had passed, we would not come out and repair a small scratch that was not there when the installers left and could not claimed to be our doing, but we would be more than happy to send some touch up paint as a gesture of good will as there was no prove it was down to us for any damaged caused once installed in her home.
At this point the Customer changed, and not in a nice way which the call had been up to this point on both sides.
After reviewing the telephone call, we found Chris not to be at fault and was not rude. Yes, Chris reacted to what the Customer accused him off and her behaviour, which he should not off done, but he was provoked.
At no point did I (Pandora, not Charlotte, as we do not have a Charlotte working for us) say or imply that Chris conducted himself in an appalling manor. I said I will speak with him about the call after I have reviewed it.
We do not class adjusting one shelf support, and a small scratch as a major DIY project.
After this Customers appalling behaviour, we have broken all ties with them and WILL NOT put any of out staff in a situation whereby they will be verbally abused in such away.
We regret it has come to this, but if the Customer had conducted herself in a good manor then this all could have been avoided.
It also seems by there statement on this review they did not read the information on our website regarding the standard materials used by companies like us. It also seems it is only now as they are trying to find fault with us rather than except any responsibility for there actions. Strange that!
