The staff are lovely, very helpful and encouraging and the girls have a good experience trying on the dresses. The first time we went ( end of Feb half term) there was very little choice and they did explain they had sold a lot that week. We went back the following week and there was lots more choice.y daughter tried on 6 dresses in all and found one she loved. Unfortunately it was slightly damaged but they only offered us £15 off which made the price £420. We then found the dress online for £400. I showed the lady at the counter and she said she couldn't take any more off but could throw in a free bag. I asked about paying in installments and this would incur an extra £25 'storage' cost. So all in all we decided to buy online, it was cheaper even with postage, I could pay in installments with PayPal and the dress was delivered in a few days, with no damage. No brainer. I do think it's a good shop for trying on and working out what style suits you, but they need to be a bit more flexible with pricing when there is damage to a dress and I would also suggest not charging for storage if they're offering a payment plan.

We had a really good experience shopping for my daughters prom dress after trying multiple other places. The fact we got to take the dress away with us was even better, not having to wait for dresses to be ordered in although in a way it means no one else has tried that dress on. I had been in conversation with Kelsey the manager prior to us attending due to my daughter getting overwhelmed in certain situations and she was brilliant communicating with me and advising best times to visit. Kelsey also took payment from us again being great at advising us of the process of buying the dress. Even the other staff helping choose dresses and taking my daughter to the changing rooms, never once did we feel rushed and the fact you don’t need an appointment means you can try as many dresses on as you want unlike other places we visited. I also appreciated the staff checking the dress over to ensure there was no damage to it. Would I recommend the dress studio? Without a doubt I would!! Thanks so much everyone.

What a great prom shop, we made a 2 hour trip & were not disappointed.
My daughter tried 5 dresses & chose the 1st, there’s no pressure, can take your time, the process was well explained as soon as we walked in & there’s a good selection to choose from for all sizes, styles, colours & budgets.
We arrived in 1/2 term, it was busy & maybe we should’ve started looking sooner but we came away with my daughters perfect dress so that’s all that matters ☺️

I had an amazing day trying on dressing and feeling like a princess. The process was so quick but I never felt rushed at all. I was advised to arrive early and I would highly recommend that to anyone as we were the first ones there and I had the first pick of dresses that day. As soon as we walked in the atmosphere was wonderful and the process was explained to us and I began to pick dresses. There was only one that had to be put back because someone from my school had already chosen it and as disappointed I was, I was more relieved to know that they keep track because I would’ve been more disappointed when I showed up to prom and another girl had the same dress as me. The staff are wonderful and I have never felt so confident. During the walk from my dressing room to the large mirrors I don’t think I’ve ever received more compliments. Nicky was especially helpful when deciding which dress I wanted as I was torn between two. She was really funny as so sweet and made me feel amazing in the dresses. She wasn’t just interested in getting me a dress and then out the door, all staff tried to give us the best experience possible. Eventually we had decided on a dress and left extremely happy and grateful for all of the wonderful staff working there. Thank you so much for such a gorgeous day! xx

This was our first shop for a prom dress so my daughter wants to have a look around but I feel we will definitely be back.
I will definitely be recommending this store to others.

Sadly didn’t find dress.
Called before to ask about section (we was after a slim style prom dress not big) as over hour drive away, told loads of dresses in the style in size uk8 upon arrival in this size we found one dress in the whole shop suitable to try on in that size which wasn’t a full big dress.
Was hoping for better selection, wasn’t offered any help.
Came away very disappointed.

Wow - where do I start? What an amazing experience my daughter and I had. Everyone was so welcoming and genuinely lovely, allowing us to browse and try on whatever we wanted. We did two trips, and my daughter was a little deflated after the first trip as she didn’t find ‘the one’ Nicki in particular was just fabulous.

On the second visit, Nicki worked with my daughter on finding the right dress to suit her style and figure. No hard sell, no pressure, just a heart felt genuine desire to help her find ‘the one’

From start to finish we had the most amazing experience and I recommend that everyone try here before looking anywhere else! Thank you for making my daughter feel like a princess (her words not mine!

She tried on lots of dresses, the staff were all lovely.
It was a lovely Mother, Daughter, sister, cousin and Nana day out we will remember forever. She’s got a stunning dress, just perfect for her! X

What a fantastic place. The staff greated us with a lovely warm welcome on arrival and explained the whole process. We browsed freeley and upon selecting a few dresses the ladies checked what school we were with and then took the dresses upstairs to try on. You can take pictures and the girls offer advice if needed but no pressure. It was such a fun and lovely experience. My daughter probably tried on 8 dresses before deciding on her perfect dress. There was so much choice, different styles and colours. You won't be disappointed if you go here for your prom dress .Fantastic all round !

Really loved, having such a big choice of dresses. All staff were so helpful but not intense. Loved having all the dresses waiting for us at the changing room. An all round good experience thank you xx

we were left to shop by ourselves and we weren’t bothered. when we asked for help we got help and the staff were all very helpful with the dresses, i would highly recommend the dress studio.

Very welcoming dress studio lots of friendly staff willing to help and offer advice. Bought my daughters prom dress after trying alot on ! Able to pay in instalments which was a bonus. Would highly recommend.

The dress studio takes the stress out of prom dress shopping.
My daughter had no idea what style or colour dress she wanted for prom, and this was the ideal place to try a good selection of styles and colours on. No hassle, no hard sale, just friendly staff happy to help and offer advice. We never thought to take a pair of heels to give the height when trying dresses on, not a problem, they lent us a pair, and it made such a difference.
After trying quite a few different colours on, we knew immediately which dress was the one the minute she put it on. It really made a difference being able to pick a good selection of styles and colours, with no rush to leave. No appointments necessary and a large number of changing rooms, it works so well.

Came to buy my daughter prom dress from The Dress Studio back in March. I can honestly say that Natalie and the girls from start to finish an memorable experience. Her dress was amazing and fitted her like a glove!
