Dr Helen Allergy Reviews 

We contacted Dr Helen for support with our 8 month old baby’s allergies, primarily around a milk allergy after following her on instagram.

We spoke with Dr Helen & discussed our concerns and arranged a virtual appointment with Dr Vas.

We got an appointment really quickly at a time that suited us and discussed our concerns, history and how we would like to proceed. Dr Vas was extremely knowledgeable but also helped us with feeling validated around our concerns which have previously been dismissed. We arranged for skin prick testing to be carried out alongside an oral food challenge. This helped alleviate some of my concerns that we would be in a supported environment to do this.

As we’re based in the North of England we arranged to fly to Belfast for our skin prick testing. This couldn’t have been easier, a quick 40 minute flight and a 20 minute taxi to the consulting rooms. I would highly recommend the team in Belfast.

The team at Belfast were excellent, Michaela talked us through the testing & a really clear explanation of what would happen including what any reaction may look like. She was also great with our little one.

We had a really positive outcome & experience at our testing & have left feeling relieved & confident to move forward with the milk ladder using the information Dr Vas has given us.

I can’t thank you all enough for the support. I finally feel validated, supported & so much more informed ready to support our child through this journey. Your patience, reassurance and clear explanations made the whole process so much easier for all of us.

Had a really positive experience with Dr Helen. She listened to all of my concerns (which were many) and took the time to go through everything with me thoroughly and was empathetic and kind whilst also suggesting simple practical ways I could improve my health. Dr Helen also tried to avoid me spending money on allergy testing as she felt it was unlikely I had allergies and my issues were caused by other health problems. I had the testing anyway fory peace of mind but she was absolutely correct! Honestly such a refreshingly good experience and I will definitely visit this clinic again - not for allergies obviously, but for one of the many other services they offer. Highly recommend.

Dr Helen and her team put us all at ease from the moment we arrived. All of the staff were so caring and professional and the environment was so lovely- our children enjoyed their time so much and didn’t even realise they were having a medical appointment.

Dr Helen and her team are wonderful. I had skin prick tests at Dr Helen's clinic in Ringwood and then a meeting with Helen who understood that, after living with allergies for many years (mine and my children's), trying to expand my current restricted diet is hampered by anxiety. Helen is caring, reassuring and very knowledgeable. I now feel more confident about which foods I can safely try to reintroduce, and I know I can consult Helen and her team if I have concerns or need further guidance.

A very warm and professional welcome from Dr Helen and her team. We visited for food challenges for two children which were conducted with care and expert knowledge which made the whole family feel safe and supported. They took time to explain everything and answer any questions ensuring we were comfortable with the process which helped make a stressful procedure more manageable. The hug was very much needed!

I’ve been corresponding with Dr. Helen through social media, video calls and email for the past 12 months+. In June 2025 we finally had the opportunity to meet in person at her clinic in Ringwood to start my son’s OIT treatment programme.

Dr. Helen and her entire team have been nothing short of fantastic. They have guided us through the process with a bespoke treatment plan tailored to my 8yo son’s specific needs.

From the very beginning, we felt listened to, reassured, and provided with hope—something we honestly never thought we would find. The clinic itself is a wonderful facility, creating a warm and welcoming environment that feels like home. Our son felt super comfortable during his visit and left feeling happy and well-informed about what to expect over the course of his treatment.
