Moe Patel from Blackburn is a Fantastic Driving Tutor. Very calm and patient, and doesnt panic when you make a mistake. Explains concepts really well, and highlights the different circumstances which is very important for new drivers as they are unfamiliar with different types of roads. Gives plenty of practice time, and very supportive at the time of the driving test. Also, the car is very good, easy to drive for new drivers.

Kamal is my current instructor and l can say that even though l haven’t had many lessons yet, l feel very confident on what l am doing.
He explains everything in detail and makes sure l have fully understood the theory behind practise. He always advises me on how to improve my skills and where l should concentrate the most.

I had a great instructor who made me feel calm during the lessons even though I was nervous to start off with. They made the whole process enjoyable and would recommend to anyone!

before i was a nervous wreck, too scared to even turn the key in the ignition and reverse out of the drive! After lessons, this dramatically changed and i not only learned so much about driving but i learned so much about myself along the way. Had around 7/8 lessons with Pete from Derby, he travelled to Castle Donington to teach me and I didn’t leave here once. Difficult to learn around a small village, I went all around derby with my old instructor so felt like I was getting no where with Pete. He then text me saying its costing him too much coming to donington and he will phone head office in the morning to let me go. Feel like I’ve wasted a lot of money now!!! would not recommend!!

I wanted driving lessons after not driving for many years and chose drivinglesson.com when roped in via live messaging on their website during my research - what a mistake! They are a terrible and dishonest organisation (the measure always being how a business reacts when things go wrong). It turns out that the instructors are actually independent and obviously unchecked for quality. The business abdicates all responsibility for the quality or behaviour of the instructors. My Brighton based one was appalling; he was rude, incompetent and smelt. An hour before my first lesson he texted to say I could not use my prepaid lessons until I booked 10 more so I took cash and paid him; as soon as I got in the car he said he did not want to honour prepaid lessons at all, complained about drivinglesson.com and then gave me less than 20 minutes of actually instruction. After the lesson, he lied about me to the justify his behaviour, which caps off the most unpleasant experience I have had in a long time. My advice: Definitely do not use this company in Brighton and beware that they do not help if the instructor behaves badly! Pay a couple of pounds more for quality and professionalism - I am now.
