I thoroughly enjoyed doing the H-EMDR course with Dr Kate Beaven-Marks. The course contents given, was amazing, very easy to follow and understand. I really enjoyed working with the other participants and getting to know them also. I highly recommend for anyone to do this course. I am looking forward to the next part of the H-EMDR course in London. Thank you Kate for fabulous course.

The Hypno Emdr course was beyond expectations. I have experienced EMDR as a client so was very curious to learn it, but understanding it from a therapy perspective completely opened up so many possibilities to resolve issues for clients. As always Kates material and structure is designed in a way to teach in bite sized chunks, and then help us integrate it through practicals. Kates insights and ability to tackle student queries is admirable. I've come out feeling very confident about this additional protocol on my therapy toolkit.

I've completed the Hypnotherapy Diploma, online courses, and the live online EMDR training and they have all been excellent.

The content taught is very extensive yet delivered in a structured way that is easy to follow and understand. There is a balanced mix of theory and practical work, and regular breaks making it easy to remain focused throughout.

Disrespectful and unfairly competitive to other practitioners and training associations. Inviting comments to a site purporting to be friendly and supportive when her comments on such innocent additions are damning and accusatory even when proved false seemed to fuel her obsession with putting down her peers. Avoid at all costs.

I came to kate facing a 22 hour journey consiting of 3 fights & a fear of flying. Aside from the great hypnotherapy session, she gave me some tools, which helped me feel in control the whole time.

I went to Kate for my needle phobia as im getting a hip replacement soon and petrified of needles. I only had a few sessions and she has completely changed me ! I went for a blood test today and was completely calm, no tears and was great! She is so clever with her techniques and i would 100% recommend her to anyone.

I attended the first part of the EMDR course which was delivered online. It was fascinating, highly instructive and the online practical aspect was really useful. I can’t wait for the next module!

I attended the recent Hypno EMDR CPD training course with Dr Kate and felt I personally wanted to leave a review because the course was so good.
The course was predominantly practice based with good theory underpinning by Kate and plenty of opportunity to learn and grow with fellow professionals. I’m not going to lie, it was an intense weekend of training both in delivery and content. Each step of the way we were guided as to how to deliver the material, how to adapt it to our personal scope of professionalism and how to ‘be’ client and then therapist so we could try both pairs of shoes on. Having the personal experience of receiving therapy is always crucial for me and sadly it often gets overlooked or rushed on some courses. Not so on this one.
I’ve completed training with Kate before so knew the training would be thorough and well delivered. Kate’s love for her craft is evident in both the content, delivery and scope of the course.
If you’re ever wondering, ‘should I take this course or not? Will it be useful in my practice?’ I’d say, absolutely yes to both. I feel thoroughly grounded in my learning experience and knowledge and my own personal experience of this technique. I’m excited to bring these skills to my existing practice. Fabulous course. I completed the EMDR course during the summer of 2021 and found it a useful addition to my hypnosis practice.
Dr Kate both educates and supports you through the course content, there are lots of opportunities to practically apply the techniques and ask additional questions. I felt very able to use all of the learnings to benefit my clients with immediate effect.

I did a lot of research before I started my journey as a hypnotherapy professional. I'm glad I did. Kate's training has been comprehensive and dynamic. I completed her HypnoTC course nearly 4 years ago and have continued to add to my CPD and training with Dr Kate and others. All of the courses that I have attended either with Dr KateHypno, Hypnotc or Hypnosis courses have been rich and engaging. Her style is fluent, dynamic and encouraging. She develops your knowledge through research, workbooks, presentations that are expertly illustrated with case studies and practical practice sessions.

I am studying to be a hypnotherapist via HypnoTC.com where Kate is one of the course leaders. I was unsure at first if I would be any good plus it is a bit of a gamble as I am currently in a well paid job. However from the outset, Kate’s engaging style coupled with the practical way she imparts her vast knowledge immediately put me at my ease. Kate uses anonymous examples of cases she has worked on in order to bring a technique or theory to life and that is really powerful. I have also attended a couple of Kate’s on-line Practitioner Development events and they are equally as great as the course I am on and I will definitely be attending more after I hopefully qualify later this year. I cannot recommend Kate and her courses highly enough.

I have known Dr Kate Bevan-Marks both as a lecturer and clinical supervisor for almost a decade . She is a passionate educator and therapist and her knowledge of hypnosis and hypnotherapy can best be described as encyclopaedic. I attended the EMDR for Hypnotherapist 2-day workshop and really benefited from it. The learnings broadened my spectrum of practices and brought me more creative ways to combine with hypnotherapy techniques for my clients. This study allowed myself to add more tools to my hypnotherapy box, which all of my clients whom I have used the techniques with get great results.
