I love DBO. It motivates me to practice, and the lessons are really great! There is something for EVERYONE, which indicates the quality. The lessons are great, and you really learn something! 5 out of 5!!!

So far so good! I'm taking my time between lessons and as you know, within each lesson there are multiple exercises to learn, and learn to the point of confidence. Remembering that this is not a race is important. I would like to see expansion on themes presented. For instance, the linear grooves could have a follow-up PDF of additional linear grooves to learn. Not necessarily with a video joined with it as probably not realistic in terms of time and expense to DBO. Thanks much! John Coia

Truly the most fun I’ve gotten out of lessons and I learn a lot from them. It’s also very engaging in the way you can talk with the other drummers who are also participating in it.

If you want to pick up drumming and don't know up from down and left from right, or if you just started and can't see the tree in front of you because of all the forest, try this!
Easy to understand and fun drumming lessons from beginner up that don't just teach you how to play-along to your favorite songs, but help you understand how drums and drumming work.
A bonus for me is the occasional humor that makes watching the tutorial videos not just informative and helpful, but also fun!

The DBO experience is great. Gabe’s instruction is clear, progressive and provides a well structured development plan that you can follow in your own time. It’s provided me with the perfect lockdown focus, rather than my previous random jamming.

I love DBO, the short sweet lessons, the team and the community. If it weren’t for DBO I would’ve been bored with trying to teach myself and quit. First of all I like that there is a purpose, that there is somewhere to strive.
In addition to the fact that there is a logical order and you can focus on something and by that build yourself towards the next topic / challenge and not just watch videos on YouTube without the order that everyone says something different.

Best way to learn drums online

I have been on DBO academy for 3 weeks and my progress has accelerated so fast

DBO is awesome, I’ve had a subscription for almost a month and I’ve learned so much. I have so much more control, and confidence. My drum fills went from four on the floor Tom fills, to some pretty sick rock fills. And like I said, it’s only been a MONTH! Another thing I wanna talk about is how absolutely fantastic the community is. They are so kind and caring for one another. It’s like one big family. And I’m very happy to be part of that family, and I know that if you join DBO academy, you will be too

I (personally) have nothing but positivity for DBO. I've been drumming for half my life (I'm 33) and I've always loved the drums, but never really noticed any massive improvement in my playing.
I'm fine with rudiments, timing has always been spot on, never had a problem nailing a groove and being the backbone of past and present bands, but I've always felt that I was never at my fullest. I have tried other online tuition and just got bored and overwhelmed due to just how much content is at my disposal. One day, I decided to give DBO ago( I've followed Gabe for a while now) and instantly from the get-go, it felt different.

Good different.

I've been a member for 3 weeks now and I've never felt so good behind the drums. The lesson structure makes sense, there's a progression system in place that just works, a community and much more.
For me, the best bit, is there's a journal, to record your progress and it has actually given me a sense of accomplishment which has made me look forward and eager to play the drums.

I'm feeling this good after 3 weeks. I look forward to 3 months.

I got no further with my previous activities on the drums with a lack of new stimulations and no concrete path. This has changed now. You are evaluated based on your own information and then start with the appropriate exercises. You are taken along and accompanied from the start. After only 4 weeks I learned a lot of new things even though I have been playing the drums for many years. The exercises are very well done and it never gets boring. Gabe is just a very good teacher and a fantastic guy. I am happy to be there.
