The customer service is pretty decent - they are responsive and seem knowledgeable. The delivery is fine and timely.

That's what the stars are for because the products are no good.

Mike Barber's comments about staining and poor glaze are 100% accurate. The cups are washed after the drink is finished, they're never left overnight but they stain almost immediately. I think the glaze in one of my cups is cracking - the inside of the cup no longer feels smooth. It's awful and makes the staining even worse.

And I can confirm that Josi Brooks' review is accurate because the same thing happened to me. No rough treatment or accidental dropping.

The products just aren't worth the money. It pains me to say it but you'd be better off getting cups from the supermarket.

It is so hard to find decent sized china mugs for tea, these are perfect, beautifully proportioned and decorated. Sadly, every single one I’ve bought has developed a leaking crack within 6 months (not dropped or banged about) and as they’re very expensive to replace I’m giving up finally on this third one.

The mugs Dunoon produce are simply delightful. There is something very special when drinking a warm drink from that lovely fine edge of bone china.
Beautiful as a gift but well worth to treating yourself.
You'll thank me!!

El servicio al cliente es lamentable.. tuve problemas para comprar la taza... No me admitía ninguna tarjeta, probé con tres diferentes, la final tuve que hacerlo con ellos por teléfono, con lo que conlleva dar los datos. Al no haberlo podido hacer por la web , jamás tuve un número de seguimiento, a pesar de que la chica,Niki que me atendió quedó en dármelo, las tazas llegaron con SEUR,no se me entregaron xq según ellos estaba ausente..( falsisimo) las devolvieron otra vez a uk, nos contacto esta chica de atención al cliente( al ver que podrían perder el importe del pedido al ser devuelto, obvio no por otra cosa) le dijimos que nosotros NO habíamos devuelto nada... A día de hoy , un mes y una semana después siguen sin llegar..NO sabemos nada de esta chica , a pesar de haberla contactado.. y para colmo ahora las tienen retenidas porque según los repartidores faltan datos de el remitente... UN AUTENTICO DESASTRE.

I bought an Under The Sea mug. It arrived faster than anticipated and was incredibly well packaged.
This mug has far exceeded my expectations. It is beautiful quality fine bone china and the colours are even better than shown online. I have used it in the microwave with no problems. I would highly recommend this company.

Do you know how difficult it is to find a large mug for a proper cup of tea. I do as I've been looking for ages to replace one.
I came across Dunoon and bought a Nevis mug with a whacky cat design on the front. Absolutely perfect for a cup of tea with a outward bend to the lip and easy so easy to clean.

Dunoon china mugs are poorly glazed and stain easily. Dunoons advice is to bleach the mugs when they stain which isn't very satisfactory. We bought 4 mugs and 2 of them stain after each use whilst 2 wash clean so it must be a fault in the glazing. For what they cost I would expect them to be stain resistant and they are not. DON'T BUY

The Duncurins have seen Dunoon mugs in the large garden centre near our home. When our daughter moved house, knowing that she is mad about Corgis , we bought her a wonderful mug featuring such dogs and another featuring other breeds of dogs for her husband. While out round Trentham Gardens today, we noticed the Dunoon outlet shop which features a vast array of mugs in a variety of shapes sizes and themes - enough to interest just about anyone.
They all feature the beautiful fine china and are absolutely lovely to behold. They are a delight to drink from. They are safe for use in the dishwasher and also the microwave but a little care is needed in such locations. They look so wonderful however that we think we will simply wash them by hand. We purchased two for ourselves; “Enchanted Cottages” and “Cottage Walk” which are complementary and another for our other daughter. The lady in the shop told us that all the Dunoon mugs are made in England and the factory celebrating its 50th year is a stone’s throw from Trentham. The Duncurins can feel a collection coming on of these beautiful mugs! Fabulous.
