I went down to Hatton garden to buy an engagement ring. I must of tried around 10-12 shops before entering Durrant’s. They was by far the most professional and honest out the lot. It’s a family run business and you can tell how much effort they put into every piece of jewellery. Honestly I cannot recommend these enough! I will be back for the wedding bands. They made us the most perfect set of rings for our engagement and wedding in just a few weeks, after a different jeweller had failed to do the same job in 6 months. The service was impeccable and everything was easy and clear and the quality was far better than anything else we had seen, and all for a very good price too. Can't recommend them highly enough.

This is by far the best jewellery store in London. We searched for the perfect engagement ring for many months and could not find anything so spectacular. We had been to the biggest and most known names in the diamond industry ( the usual suspects). From the clarity of the stone to the cut, to the colour- the flourescence and symmetry was nothing like we had seen before. Everyone who has laid eyes on this ring has been blown away!

Additionally, this family owned business showed so much professionalism and knowledge.

I could not have ask for anything more from Durrants, they were exceptional!
We had approached another jewellers for a bespoke commission before but had communications issues and what felt like a lack of interest. But Durrants couldn't be more different. They responded quickly and positively to a query posted via their site and continued with fast and helpful emails all the way through (some 50 emails in total). This was especially helpful during the pandemic as we were not able to visit the store for the majority of the process.
When we were able to visit the store, they were very friendly and welcoming, and took us through the whole process. Tom is very engaging and easy to talk to, he had some great advice and was super helpful.
We are delighted with the result and the entire journey. I cannot thank them enough!

Brilliant experience with Tom, really personable and listened to what I wanted. He had no hesitancy to melt down an old yellow gold ring and make a new wedding band with take a diamond I owned to make into a necklace. Couldn't fault the service or quality.

I had amazing service from Tom. Given the fact I was unable to pick out a ring in person due to Covid, the whole experience was made as smooth as possible. I had all my many queries answered promptly and the best part was the ring itself which was amazing! Highly recommend!

My engagement ring broke towards the end of 2020, after 20 years of wear. I went to see Tom at Durrants in Hatton Garden who couldn't have been more helpful and informative about how they were going to remake my ring - such a lovely guy too. After a short wait (amazingly quick turnaround since we went into a second lockdown) Tom delivered my stunning piece, on time and looking absolutely beautiful, at a very good price too. I'd highly recommend Durrants for the high standard of work and customer service.

We have been customers of Durrants since 2011 when my now husband worked with them - over the course of several months - to select the main stone for my engagement ring. I know he would have been a tricky customer and their thoughtful, knowledgeable approach was second to none. Over the last decade we have worked with them on a number of bespoke items including wedding bands, diamond earrings, an eternity band, a tennis bracelet and the quality of everything has been superb - in terms of the diamonds themselves and the craftmanship of the settings. I have recommended the team to several friends of varying budgets and all have had a great experience.

Cannot fault my experience with Durrants - Tom made the fairly daunting task of buying an engagement ring incredibly enjoyable and the resulting product was perfect. Throughout the whole process, from advice on different styles to stones and then tailoring and customising a design to fit with my needs, Tom was always quick to respond, honest and incredibly helpful. Have purchased a number of items over the years and reffered many friends who have always been very happy. Caroline is both knowlegeble and provides an amazing service, over the years Tom has taken over and is a credit to the Durrant name, cannot reccomend Durrants enough .

I was searching for an engagement ring and visited several jewellers around Hatton Garden before settling on Durrants. I was won over by their credibility and authenticity - it's family run and they have their workshop on-site. As opposed to a number of the other retailers nearby who are clearly just outlets for mass manufactured jewellery, Tom and his parents Stephen and Caroline clearly have a real passion for the craft. I felt that I was buying something special, unique and of real quality. The entire experience was a real pleasure and I would definitely go back to them in future.

Personal and patient. We were given lots of time to discuss what we wanted, decide on a style and offered expert advice on the practicalities of what we were choosing. The end product is perfect, would 100% recommend, couldn’t fault them.

We visited Durrants of London recently to purchase a special gift for a dear friends birthday. The gentleman who served us was knowledgable and informative as well as making us feel more than comfortable given current circumstances. The jewellery we purchased was beautiful. There are many jewellery shops in Hatton Gardens but “Durrants of London” is exceptionally unique and professional. I am a return customer. The first time my boyfriend introduced me to this jewellery shop was to design and pick my engagement ring - incredible stylish and beautiful piece of work. I loved it so much that I wanted to match earrings with the ring. We were at Durrants today to choose my birthday earrings. And again, I was delighted with the service and quality of the work. Tom as always was very knowledgeable and professional. He showed me different types of earnings with removable halo, truly beautiful and unique. Thank you, Tom. I am happy with my new earrings. I am sure we will be back soon for the weddings rings now!

I went to Durrants of London to buy a Rolex Datejust, which Tom the owner sourced himself after placing an enquiry. He kept me up to date throughout the week with different options and finally found an absolute gem of a watch.
I came down to the shop and met all of the Durrant family who were accommodating and professional.
I bought the watch and will recommend anyone looking for a proper family run jewellers that care about their customers and take their time to make you happy.

Durrants have just set an emerald into a, rather complex, ring design for me. The result is just stunning. Stunning. I'm not so concerned over the price, but note that thet have come in 20% under (yes, under) their initial estimate. A decent family firm, doing what they do. Heartily recommend.
