Jeres medarbejdere kan åbenbart ikke færdselsloven. Da de parkere på en handicap parkeringsplads og NEJ der var INTET skilt i forruden. Jeg har billeder af dem, hvis I ønsker at se dem.
Brutal customer service. Can’t even reach anyone.
Been with them for 3 years. My tenant insurance was cut off as they are "no longer offering that insurance anymore", however I can reapply... Which I did - they have doubled the cost.
Another insurance company is ripping off the public.
This is yet another thing wrong with insurance companies. They are about the money.
I have suggested to Duuo to so many friends since joining and over 20 have joined.
I told them about this experience and they have since left duuo which makes me happy.

we had them. changed our card/payment method. they failed (due to their 1990's website) our payments. after trying to charge us twice (which failed because our old card was deactivated, hence why we changed it) they canceled our plan. youre not able to reactivate it so we had to make a new one, which, what ever. no problem. but then then kept charging our NEW card. the card they didnt charge, therefore cancelling our plan, suddenly started getting charged for a canceled plan!? terrible company. avoid. do not do business with them. complete incompetence. and the online "help" cant spell correctly. so many typos. speaks volumes about their company. 0/5 stars
This is the rudest, greediest, most stupid company with the most rude employees that I have ever encountered. I sent a email SPECIFICALLY requesting short term insurance with the specific terms I needed, and they tried to get me to sign up for a YEARLY plan. They made having to buy online insurance an even WORSE and miserable experience than it already was. TAKE YOUR INSURANCE SOMEWHERE ELSE; DON’T GIVE THIS STUPID, GREEDY IDIOTIC COMPANY YOUR MONEY. The employee was so immature about it as well. I said I wouldn’t be interested in doing business with a company that couldn’t read a short email, and they said “your OUTBURST is not necessary, well okay we don’t have a policy that works for you.” What sour grapes lmao, I already wasn’t interested in buying their insurance scam plan. I can’t even imagine how annoying they would be if you actually needed to make a claim.
I have a commercial venue that is rented on a third party platform and I get a preferred rate for my clients. I just got off the phone with duuo to explain the policy that was just purchased if they bought the right policy, as my own insurance provider requires this on my policy. After 1 hour wait and an argument with Jeff, broker finally he finally gets help and explains he cannot provides any details but finally finds where it states on the policy but apparent he does not know anything EXCEPT TO APOLOGIZE AND WASTE 90 MINS-GET TRAINING
Excellent renters insurance, had no problems and is super cheap. Can get approved really fast as well.
I was a client of Duo Insurance (DUO) for three years, and this is the second time I’ve had serious problems with them.
There was an issue with my credit card, which I promptly replaced with a new one. Instead of attempting to charge the updated card or even contacting me properly, Duo simply failed the payment and canceled my insurance policy outright.
When I contacted them, they lied by saying they would make a “one-time exception” for me — but then instructed me to create an entirely new policy. That is not an exception. If it were truly an exception, they would have reinstated the policy that they themselves canceled due to their own process failure.
Claiming to offer special exceptions that don’t actually exist is misleading and dishonest. After being a loyal customer for years, I was treated very poorly and with zero consideration.
Extremely disappointing experience. I do not recommend Duo Insurance to anyone who expects transparency, respect, or fair treatment.
Unable to cancel the insurance policy. The hotline is not a sign, automatically end customer callings. Emailed them, reply me the only way to cancel is to call them.
Don’t buy their insurance
My tenant insurance policy was not renewed due to an error on their end, they would not reinstate my policy at the same rate. Scammers to get more money out of their customers.
For some reason they require TWO MONTHS notice to cancel? You can't speak to them on the phone. When I tried to call for help, they literally just said, "You can do that yourself on the dashboard." I was with Square One in BC & they were fabulous. They were so friendly & helpful on the phone & they did not charge me for months I wouldn't be there, when I had to cancel due to leaving the province. By comparison, this was not a good experience & I do not recommend them. I look forward to going back to Square One. Better insurance companies exist.
I had been paying 16 dollars and change until one month they raised to rate to 24 dollars and change, the payment was initially refused because our budget was set at 16 dollars and change.
We've never had to ever use renters insurance so it's been basically money given to a company to invest. With the rate increase we sought to cancel it, well talk about a run around. They said we had to cancel it from the websites dashboard we went to do that, then it said we had to contact them, we've written, emailed and called via telephone.
All we've gotten is " you'll have a 9 day grace period to renew ! " we don't want to renew, because basically Duuo is a bait and switch scheme, they start out low and then raise it 4 months or so in.
They disguise this tactic as a convenience to you, they tout a month to month policy, and the reason is simply that every month is a new policy, hence the variable rates.
Shop around in the end you'll pay the same as you as you would any at insurance agency, but the rate will stay the same at least for the year!
Also their customer service really tanks!
I needed renters insurance , i did a google search and came up with a few. Duuo.ca was near the top of the google search list. I proceeded to their website and received an online quote after just a few simple questions regarding type of coverage i wanted. The rest was easy. I highly recommend Duoo for all your insurance needs. Fantastic prices too
