Great products, broken customer service.
I love Dyson products, but their customer service in the Czech Republic is poor.
I ordered a Dyson V8 during a sale and received a confirmation email stating it was on its way. Out of nowhere, Dyson cancelled the order without any warning or notice. In fact, I only discovered it had been cancelled because my money randomly reappeared in my bank account—no email, notification, or explanation was ever sent.
When I contacted support via WhatsApp, the agent first claimed my phone number was "incomplete", even though my order receipt clearly showed my correct 9-digit number. When I pointed out that their own checkout page forces a pre-filled "+420" country code prefix, the agent changed his story. He was unable to reinstate my original order and instead suggested I place a new one and pay again—but now at a higher price. When I asked how to enter the phone number avoid buggy system issues again, when doing a new order myself online the agent suddenly managed to manually update the order (using the same ‘incorrect’ format I used the first time). Not sure why this could not be done with the original order.
If they can fix a phone number issue manually to reach a new payment, they could’ve done it to the original order.
Dyson makes 5-star machines, but they have 1-star support.
