Have just made a purchase with Craig and he couldn't have been more helpful. He recommended a product to suit our specific needs. Which was at a lower cost than the one we had initially sourced.
He was polite, considerate and informative.
Am hopeful the product will be exactly what we need

Terrible service delayed scooter, not fit for purpose arrived when 200 miles away (poor notification) returned as unfit for purpose, in perfect condition at own expense and told damaged! And hardly any refund

Do not use this company. Brought an I glide folding mobility scooter from them. It stopped unfolding so called company. They told me I how to send it back at my expense and organise to return myself. They company they recommended I used wanted £90 to transport it and £49 insurance. I asked for an email to say they received it but got nothing asked to speak to Manager said I would get a callback, but never have !!! they repaired the broken bit but I’ve mentioned that the poppers on the seat didn’t meet but they didn’t do anything about that. Still no call back from Manager very very bad Customer service won’t be using them again

This is by far the worst customer service from a company I've ever experienced. I am beyond disappointed, frustrated and let down! My Gran has been without a scooter now for at least four weeks which results in her now being housebound. The scooter she purchased was six months old when it stopped folding. Upon calling to see about getting it fixed we were told the company that would deal with a collection has went into liquidation leaving us to try to arrange getting this from Dundee down to Stafford. Bearing in mind my Gran is nearly 80 and they left her to arrange all of this. The company they suggested to pick up the scooter refused which left us back to square one. After calling again they offered to send a part"they assumed" was the the problem, but we would have to find a third party to replace it all at my grans expense. I went around everywhere trying to find someone to fix it, with no luck because no one stocks this brand (what does that tell you)! So back on the phone to them again, after asking to speak to manager again and again they keep passing the buck to their colleagues rather than take any responsibility. I can go on and on but four weeks down the line and unfortunately we are no forward so I'm not holding out much hope that they rectify a fault. After seeing their reply to other customers you can see what their customer service is lacking.

Terrible company. The powerchair I bought tipped backwards on uneven but flat road and my head was hit resulting in stay in hospital. This company's response was to blame me. Avoid!

Poor customer service. My scooter developed a fault when it was about eight months old and under warranty. A nut came loose & dropped out from underneath the steering cover so it wouldn’t turn. Despite this being an obvious manufacturer fault, firstly I was told it wasn’t covered under warranty because I should’ve checked the tightness of all nuts and bolts (despite being disabled hence the scooter, and despite the faulty nut being within the body of the scooter) and then told me it was under warranty, but I would have to pay to ship it to them but couldn’t guarantee when it would be back and couldn’t provide a temporary replacement. This sort of service is essential for things like mobility scooters, which people depend on every single day. I have to pay to fix it myself because I couldn’t be without the scooter.
The charger also developed a fault. I have to send that back to them on my own cost. Explain the agency and I was unable to use the scooter without the charger but still had to wait nearly 2 months for a replacement so had to purchase another one.

Absolutely fantastic cannot fault the service. Friendly staff who certainly know their stuff. First class advice and service. Best place to go if your looking for this kind of stuff

Spoken to Craig yesterday, he helped my friend purchase a folding mobility scooter, first class customer service explained that the model he wanted is popular and out of stock, back in beginning of July is He happy to wait? Explained everything. Lovely man. So patient and thorough.

Mark was very helpful he introduced himself and explained how we could order what we wanted into the shop .I highly recommend this shop for your mobility needs .

We bought a Mobility Scooter from the Wellington Branch and the service was exceptional. The scooter is for my husband but I went to get information on various options as I have Arthritis and have to ensure that I could lift the parts comfortably. Ross Vickers, Branch Manager was brilliant taking all the time I needed to explain the different scooters, explaining how they came apart etc. how much they cost, guarantee lengths and insurance cost. I came away extremely happy.

The following day I went back with my husband and again Ross couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. He explained to my husband the operation of the scooter we had chosen, how to break it down and how to store it in the car. My husband was also very impressed and we came away with his scooter. We recommend Ross and the Wellington Branch to anyone. Thank you very much Ross!! Brilliant service. 👍👍

In November I purchased the Autobot X in fairness it’s small nippy and has a good turning circle and despite the wobbly steering I was happy with it the battery lasted well and climbed inclines well but the other day I leaned back a little and the seat cracked in half.
When I got in touch with them they told me it wasn’t covered by the warranty and would cost around £60 for the new seat when I questioned this they hung up on me.
I’m WELL under the 120Kg stated as the max weight this can handle. I’m more upset about the customer service than anything.
Would I recommend to friends NO

Review of Easy Living Automatic Folding Electric Wheelchair and service received

To start - I have tried to post this review on easy living mobilitys own website in the section for reviews of this chair, however, a week and a half later they still have not allowed the review to be published.

Pros:
*it comes with two batteries so can travel up to 15 miles on one charge
*the cushion is well padded so the seat is comfy enough
*it's fairly cheap as far as electric chairs go
*smooth and easyish to drive INDOORS
*both armrests lift fully up
*folds and unfolds at the push of a button
*it doesn't beep when reversing

Cons:
*it really struggles on surfaces that are not completely smooth and flat - if the ground slopes the chair pulls in that direction HARD! Even when steering in the opposite direction this has caused the chair to pull towards the edge of curbs towards the road a few times now - it's quite scary when it happens and need to act fast to avoid going into the road/over the curb
*it will not go over any bumps, even very small ones unless you go at it with great speed which is not always possible. It even struggles with dropped curbs that are not fully level with the road/ground such as when pavements are cobbled. So end up needing to reverse up onto pavements a lot of the time (not fun when there are cars coming!)
*It has 1 footplate rather than two foot rests which is a bit less comfortable (for me). Also while you can flip up the footplate the way it sits when flipped up leaves it digging into the bottom of your thighs/back of the knees so it's not a practical option, it hurts and it's difficult to flip up whilst sitting in the chair.
*I find when turning sometimes the wheels drag against my feet while they're on the footplate
*With my chair it seems to struggle with righthand turning, it does it much slower than left turning and makes a whirring noise.
*Customer service was poor when I called them about the turning issue, they were rude and said I would have to return the product at my own cost and I could have a replacement IF they found a fault but if they didn't find a fault then id have to again pay at my cost to have it returned to me. No option to take it to a store for them to check or anything. Apparently you can't do that if ordering online. When my partner brought up the difficulty of returning and then waiting for it to be sent back to me the customer service rep on the phone said I shouldn't have purchased online if I did not have the capacity to deal with that. It was quite horrid!

Overall:
This chair will do for a while for what I need it for (I hope) but any outdoor use (even between shops etc) is not overly pleasant unless pavements are very new, flat, and in good condition. It does fold fairly compact and is light enough my partner can lift it in and out of the car. However, as soon as is viable I will be seeking a better chair.

Personally I wouldn't ever purchase from easy living mobility again which is a shame as they seem really lovely in store. Unfortunately the niceties are not extended to online customers.

I bought a Quickie Empulse F55 on the 19th of November 2021 being promised next day delivery. It didn’t arrive until the 22nd of December 2021 two days after I contacted Easy Living Mobility and said that I wanted to cancel my order, they had made excuses for non-delivery up until this point. Responses to my emails were hit and miss, some were just not replied to and I had to chase them.
I had the device serviced in October 2022 and the engineer identified a defect with the braking system that caused the item to be unsafe. I confirmed that it has been like that since I had received it but there was no way for me to identify this defect myself as this particular safety feature was not described in the user manual. I tried to liaise with easy living mobility around a repair but there were a number of hurdles that made this practicably impossible.
They asked me to post the item back to them, bearing in mind it weighs 13kgs and is over a meter in length and I am disabled. They said that the item which is expensive would not be insured while in transit and that I would be responsible for postal insurance for which I was quoted £120. I said that I could transport it back to Stafford for repair and they said that they would have to inspect it and agree that it was defective before any repair could be authorized. I told them that the engineer that had visited had already liaised with the manufacturer and they had agreed that it was defective and could be fixed under warranty. I asked if there was any way to identify and agree the defect before I travelled to Stafford and suggested a teams meeting between myself, the manufacturer and easy living mobility, they did not respond and when I followed up they just repeated the same policy offering no flexibility. Due to the problems with communication and reliability I had with them, I wanted them to identify the defect, order the part and then I would make one trip to Stafford for them to repair it while I waited. They were unable to provide any flexibility nor any sort of decent customer service to me as customer to ensure that I was inconvenienced as possible. After all this was a manufacturing defect that was not my fault and should be repaired as part of my rights as a consumer. I have reported them to trading standards for the safety defect and I had the repair completed by a dealer who is approved by the manufacturer to carry out repairs, it took 30 minutes. The device might have been a little expensive elsewhere, but you get what you pay for, I won’t be buying from them again.

Went to purchase a mobility scooter for the father in law, Mark at the store was very knowledgeable and ensured we got the right one. Also purchased a chair that reclines and massages. During both purchases there was never any hard sale it was about making sure we got what's was needed, and put the old folk at ease.

Easyliving were supposed to have delivered my wheelchair today but never turned up I will be emailing them tomorrow and giving them 14 days to do this or give me a full refund if not I will take further action

I've was trying to buy a electric wheelchair from this company and had problems with the link they sent me. I've phoned them back and another link was meant to have been sent and that was 5 days ago, despite asking for automated system to get someone to call me back and being on hold for 45 minutes several times trying to get through and sending an online system message I've not received the link in an email or a call back. Going to go through another company now after reading all these bad reviews.

Purchased a FreedomChair DE08L from the WALSALL branch.
Manager Mark was fantastic NO HARD SELL took time to help me choose the right product for me, test drove the folding power chair and others In store before making my choice. Fully knowledgeable about there products and what will and would not suit my needs.
Product was delivered to my home where engineer Andrew assembled the chair and demonstrated all its functions to me and my wife, Made sure we were happy with its use. There was no rushing just 100% care. Unlike other companies I have dealt with in the past.

Just been to walsall branch to purchase a new scooter for my partner and mark couldnt be more helpful. Was nice to browse the wide range of products at our leisure with no salesman pressure. The whole experience was excellent and would recommend to anyone.

I live in West Midlands and visited Walsall branch to have two motors replaced on my wheelchair. Mark couldn’t have been more helpful, I had previously by another company been quoted £680 for supply and fit, I went direct to buy the motors myself saving £200, then Mark fitted them and did a minor repair for just £80 in 2 hours. This was a lifesaver for me as I can’t cope without my chair. He didn’t try to sell me anything and was very polite and did an excellent job.
I have read reviews from other people about other branches, all I can say is not every one is the same,
I did call on a 0800 number but got an obviously switchboard that covers all franchises, I left my number asked to be called back by Walsall branch . And that was Mark. I’m so glad I did.
