I’ve used ECHO for years now and have shipments that go out at least once a month. Recently, one of my shipments went on a joy ride. ABT (or whoever) picked up my freight and handed it off to another company that had nothing to do with my order. That company sat on my shipment for three weeks until we had to investigate and uncover their incompetence. It took another week for them to transfer it to the proper shipping company.
As a result, my delivery was three weeks late and arrived damaged. I told ECHO that I expected some sort of refund, as my shipment did not reach its destination on time and was delivered in poor condition. ECHO claimed that the shipping company wouldn’t issue any compensation because the order was ultimately delivered.
I then requested a partial refund from ECHO—not a full refund, but something reasonable, as I shouldn’t pay full price for such a disastrous job. ECHO refused. It’s mind-blowing, especially considering the significant business I’ve done with them. I will now take my business elsewhere. A couple of hundred dollars back could have saved them over $50K in receivables.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Echo Global Logistics. A shipment we canceled resulted in a $358.15 charge, which the company initially agreed to refund. However, they later refused to process the refund unless we paid unrelated and unauthorized charges.
We do not have a written contract with Echo Global Logistics, nor did we agree to the additional service fees they added to our account. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue professionally, the company held our refund hostage as leverage to force payment of these unjustified charges.
This behavior is unethical and goes against standard business practices. A refund for a canceled service should not be contingent upon resolving disputes over unrelated invoices, especially when those charges were never authorized.
In addition to these issues, the company had our information completely wrong; they had another company’s information in our account. The POD documents attached to our account for some of the shipments weren’t even related to our company. This is concerning because it’s a violation of not only our privacy, but also the privacy of the other companies whose information was uploaded into our account. I believe that Echo Global should be investigated for their commonly occurring unethical and deceptive practices.
I cannot recommend this company and urge others to carefully consider their business practices before engaging with them.

Stay as far away from these guys as possible. They start adding charges after a shipment is delivered, they also start charging for shipments you didn't authorize then claim they can't refund anything or dispute the difference between residential delivery and commercial delivery. Becca and Camillo are the worst to deal with, very dishonest. I would highly advise anyone looking to use them to run!! I have proof that a delivery was made to a commercial location and Echo is failing to dispute the residential charge by Fedex. I also have proof that they charged me for a delivery I did not schedule or authorize and actually never used and they refuse to give a refund. They are stealing from their customers!
A carrier Echo contracted with to ship an order consisting of a single oversize pallet somewhere along the line claimed the pallet was longer than stated and sent additional charge of $170.00. I presented photos of the actual shipment verifying the dims when carrier picked it up. Echo sided with their vendor, not their customer. They lost our account while small (5k a month) for $170.00, The freight industry is a challenge, I've shipped over 2000 of these pallets over past 15 years and this has become an issue over past couple years..Could it be freight industries way of creating additional revenue stream with no addition cost?
For quoting the rep would not honor the freight class given and use random freight class numbers which made the pricing higher and when confronted they refused to change it and asked for more proof of the classification provided.
This company is horrible. We ship upwards of 300-500k worth of shipments a year and this company has no backbone when it comes to fighting accessorial fees. Expect to pay 100 + extra on each shipment as they do not stand up for their customers. Be aware.
Quite possibly the worst experience I've had. In honesty Echo Global was my freight broker - who assigned Central transport to my load. Central's terminal's lost or stole the product within a day and sent a check for $45 to make it right when the pallet's purchase cost was for over $2800
My anger with ECHO is that they didn't make any effort to make it right on their end.
Terrible service. No one answers the phone. Leave a message, no one gets back to you. Packages sitting in warehouses for weeks without moving. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
we use(used to) for palletized shipments. their customer service is completely unhelpful. You are paying them to arrange your shipment but there is no support or service carried out. When things went wrong and they had directly feed us false information, they took no responsibility and no initiative to correct the situation. After failed pickups, they said they had no control and blamed us for booking the service without ever before indicating it would be an issue. We are now awaiting a refund on a shipment they just never got collected. Would avoid, they are many LTL brokers out there that provide far better service and stand behind the shipments they book.
Stole 850 from my company after I had to fix their company's mistake terrible customer service if they can use a technicality to not pay for services even tho they can double check to confirm service have been render they will they have no shame in STEALING and they even did it during the covid 19 pandemic
The WORST customer service. I have NO idea who I had on the phone, some man answered. From the "get-go" he was "short tempered" and "irritated" with me. I told him I had sent an email to Alejandro (in his company) and I wanted to confirm that he had received the message. But his remarks were short and RUDE and he never did succeed in helping me or assisting me on getting my shipment out. Echo Global Logistics customer service should receive NO STARS
I noticed my product arrived in the nearby center on a Friday morning. Got a call from them to schedule delivery and had to wait until Monday to have it delivered. Was told if I did not want to wait over the weekend, I could come pick it up over an hour away. I got a call Monday from them saying they needed to change the delivery to the next day because no driver was in the area. Got a call next day saying the driver would arrive between noon and 5 pm. Called around 2 pm and was told between 3 and 5 pm. Waited and the driver arrived at 5:30 pm as I was the last delivery. Though the driver was late, he was professional and courteous. I did notice due to his request for assistance, that he did not have the appropriate equipment to complete the task on his own. He asked politely if I would help him push the fork up the steep driveway and I obliged. He should have had a self propelled truck/fork for his safety, and if a customer in a similar situation ever got hurt, the company would be in legal pickle. They should invest in a self propelled truck/fork. Maybe if they invested, the driver would spend less time in each location allowing for more deliveries or at least less pressure to meet scheduled times.
This is not 3 stars because the driver/deliverer was professional.
