Sold on Amazon as an unlocked phone. It was locked to a Carrier other than mine. Dishonest company. Do not buy from them. Look elsewhere.

I will NEVER buy anything from Ecobuyphones! They are the worst of the worst, I purchased a problematic iphone 12 in May 2026 and as soon as I turned the phone on, it was too hot to hold which I knew it was defective, cause I've had an iphone since 2013 and this was the first phone I've had errors with, Customer service was a complete nightmare, I returned the phone the next day in the same condition in which I received. They didn't want to keep their word by giving me a refund, instead tried to put the blame on me, so therefore I contacted Amazon and received a partial refund, lessons learned, yes indeed! Never buy anything from this fraudulent So Called Company! Yes I got the Attorney General involved. These people needs to be investigated at the highest level and held accountable...

This company is completely fraudulent and does not respect its own moneyback, guarantees policies or rules. I purchased a refurbished iPad from the TikTok shop, which still has not worked correctly since the purchase. Contacted the company multiple times. They denied my refund claim and basically just tried to wake me out until their return window expired. I then try to use the TikTok money back guarantee and they still would not honor it. I believe that this company is taking advantage of people. When I tried to complain about it publicly on their page, they banned me from the page which lets me know they don't really want feedback, even polite feedback on their process. Terrible company and terrible service. Save your money and finance a phone.

I purchased a refurbished iPhone 17e which was locked to the AT&T mobile network from Ecobuyphone. I specfically bought this phone because our company has mobile services contracted with AT&T.

After receiving the phone and activating it on the AT&T network with my cell number, I immediately received messages from AT&T that my iPhone and cell number had been "BLOCKED" because the iPhone was still on AT&T's "Reported Stolen/Counterfeit" list.

It took me four hours on the phone with AT&T's fraud department to get to a manager who finally cleared the SIM card for authorized use and the block was removed.

Ecobuyphone is sloppy because they do not have an SOP or follow an SOP to ensure the iPhones they sell which are "locked to the AT&T network" are cleared for use with AT&T's fraud department prior to shipping them to their customers.

After filing my complaint, Ecobuyphone took no accountability for their error and laid all the blame on me. No apology ... no nothing.

I won't be doing business with Ecobuyphone ever again. They're simply unaccountable and not customer satisfaction-driven.

They sold me a bad phone for my daughter that was her Christmas present now it won't even turn on and they said to bad don't ever buy from them 400 down the drain they do not take responsibility for thier product

I immediately contacted seller that phone was not in excellent condition. Had to replace battery first week.

Sold at refurbished price as excellent condition BUT it wasn’t. Tried to negotiate for reimbursement of battery cost.

Do not respond quickly even when you ask Amazon customer service to help.

Good seller, great phone great condition.
