We had been thinking about solar for years, but never took the plunge.

We’ve just had our solar system installed by ECOSheffield, and the entire experience has been exceptional from start to finish. Our setup included 19 x 465W panels, 8 kW of AlphaESS inverter power, and a huge 18.24 kWh of usable AlphaESS storage capacity with 2 x SMILE‑G3‑BAT‑9.6S batteries — a significant investment, and ECOSheffield delivered flawlessly.

The installation team were professional, polite, and clearly highly skilled. The fitters worked efficiently, kept everything tidy, and showed real pride in their work. A special mention goes to Sam and Adam, who made the whole process incredibly easy to understand. Sam walked us through every stage, explained the system in a clear and informative way, and ensured we felt confident with the setup before leaving.

The quality of workmanship, communication, and customer care has been outstanding. Our system is performing brilliantly, and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. ECOSheffield has earned our full recommendation — a top‑class company delivering top‑class results.

They are very easy to deal with from start to finish. Adam was very helpful with our initial enquiry and quotation. Sam was very thorough answering our questions before and during the installation and made sure we were fully happy before leaving.

We recently had a 20 panel system installed with power wall and EV charger.
The whole experience was very professional. Sam, on his initial site visit was very knowledgable and listened to my naive requirements but advised me accordingly on what we needed and the best solution for my needs. I continued collecting more quotes but Ecosheffield did not push me for an answer to their quote and accepted my due diligence of gathering more quotes and advice.
We decided to go with Ecosheffield because of this and their quote was in the same ballpark as others that we had gained.
The install day was like a military operation with all timings and detail we needed. The contractors were all pleasant and very professional, clean and tidy whilst completing the works.
We now look forward to educating ourselves using the system to best effect.

From are first meeting with Adam everything went smoothly, had all equipment fitted and serviceable and scaffolding removed in one day with minimal disruption all the teams where excellent, well done 👏 👏👏

From the very first enquiry we knew Eco Sheffield was the right company. Adam was fab, he was friendly, knowledgeable and explained things that was so easy to understand. From that first phonecall though we didn't expect just how amazing they would be. They kept us updated at all times. Turned up on time and Ryan the electrician is amazing at his job! The fitters Dan and Dave were so fast and all of them are lovely. We met Sam afterwards who came to clear their rubbish away which was wonderful and he was so lovely making sure we were happy. Just a fabulous team of people and absolutely the right choice. No hard sales. No complicated round the houses sales pitch. No ridiculous prices that other companies charge. Just honest hard working people who everyone should work with!

I recently had EcoSheffield install a 21-panel solar array alongside a Tesla Powerwall 3 and expansion pack. The entire experience was flawless. When carrying out a survey, Sam was incredibly professional and not pushy at all. He answered every technical question I had with confidence, which gave me total peace of mind given the scale of the system.

The installers were exceptionally hard-working and ensured the system was installed to a high standard. The wiring and mounting looks great and the area was left clean and tidy.

I found EcoSheffield through an online search and was immediately drawn to their more casual, honest approach as a smaller local company looking to grow. I like supporting local businesses, and their straightforward proposition really stood out.

After a fairly quick initial call discussing my needs and some technical details, I was put in touch with Sam, the owner. Sam was very much my kind of guy, a tech-savvy, data-driven geek who patiently walked me through everything. He answered all my questions factually, with no pressure, no sales tactics, just honest data. The quote was also very competitive compared to the four other quotes I received, making the decision a complete no-brainer.

Installation day was today and the team arrived right on schedule. After quick introductions they got straight to work. All cables and equipment were installed exactly as agreed, and although there were a few last-minute changes to the system, these were actually improvements. We ended up with more than originally quoted, which always feels like a win.

I’m genuinely delighted with the quality of the installation, very neat work by a team who clearly takes pride in what they do. I have no complaints at all and couldn’t recommend EcoSheffield highly enough. One very happy customer.

We had 18 solar panels and a 10kw AlphaESS battery installed and I could not be more complimentary about Sam and the team.
Getting solar panels was a big decision for us but Sam spent time talking me through all the options, answering any questions in an easy to understand way and giving me honest advice. He was always on hand throughout the process both by phone and email. I shopped around quite a bit before going with Eco Sheffield but they couldn’t be beaten for customer service or price - a rare combination!
The panels were installed really quickly and with minimal disruption. We had scaffolding up on day one, battery and panels installed on day two and scaffolding down on day three! Throughout Sam checked in with us to make sure everything was running smoothly and the on site team were great; Ryan the electrician even taking time to give us some advice on another electrical matter in the house.
I’m really pleased we’ve made the jump to get solar panels installed and that’s mainly down to the Eco Sheffield team. I would definitely recommend them to any friends/family looking to get solar installed.

The installers got here right on time, were very nice and gave us the best price we could find. I must start by saying that we didn't actually choose ecosheffield to install our panels - why am I adding a review? Well I wanted to say that my experience in obtaining a quote (which was the best one we got btw) and subsequent interactions (questions/advice) was top notch. The one and only reason we didn't proceed was that they are a fairly new company and the recommendation is always to use a well established company - and yes, I get how hard it must be to then become established. Just want to wish them well

Very helpful sales person, Sam. Answered our numerous questions and they did what he said they would do. Fitted 14 panels in 3 days. Day one scaffold up, day 2 panels and electrics fitted and working, day 3 scaffold down and gone. Talked us through paperwork and put app on our phones.
