EDate Is a scam it’s very difficult to cancel subscription

Got a few contacts from a few people. Never met anyone now trying to get off of the site. It won’t let me into stop the charges.

I did receive a response from the two people I was interested but I think it was an AI one. After that.... Nothing No responses at all. I wrote the woman I was hoping to hear from and then even wrote two more notes and then included a nice friendly (in one in a boat I photographed and another of a building in town .... Again nothing. I have no choice but to assume that this is really a scam.

This site is no more than a haven for grifters and scammers. This should be banned to do business on the internet

It's just painful that I didn't get to search here before paying for a subscription. To my greatest surprise, I got kicked out after subscribing to their fake dating site.

I get daily spam emails from edate, to which I never subscribed, claiming that various people are looking at a profile that doesn't exist. It's just a scam.

Totally bogus dating site. Every single person who I matched with that contacted me asked me for money. If, by chance, I was able to actually speak to them, all of them had a foreign accent. I believe that I have spoken to the same person who responded under at least a half a dozen different profiles

I can't log in. I can't reach anyone by phone. The number is disconnected and/or busy. I wrote a letter a 2 weeks ago and have heard NOTHNG. I'm fed up with this site. Cancel my subscription. There is No Way to reach anyone at corp.

Repeated choices for men from places I never even heard of

Wish I could give it 0 stars. 90% of my messages went unread. And when I did get a reply it was a scam.. I sincerely believe if they just keep up old profiles to have content. And the stupid spin a match interface is lame. Plus the site has no search capabilities. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this platform.

I would give this site zero stars if it were available. Unless you pay, you cannot communicate or view messages. All the numerous messages you think you have are just comments by edate: "Interested in John? Send him an email." Total fraud. When you look at how many people have actually viewed your profile, it is almost none! What a joke. They should be sued for false advertising. The only real message I have received in a month was a bootie call.

This site is a scam. You are lured in on a cheap 2 days for £1.99 and the an automatic payment for £49.99 is attempted from your account. This non payment is sent to a debt collection company in Germany and £250 is added to the bill. Then the debt is sent to a law firm registered in Africa and another £250 is added to the bill. Do not pay. They have no legal standing in Uk courts. This is al an intimidating tactic. If they threaten you, contact European consumer centre. (Uk) 01268886690.

Garbage. I've had two people contact me and both were nothing more than fakes trying to get money or phishing for info. I have sent 40+ messages and no responses. By the law of averages, at least one would have responded out of politeness and say not interested. Total scam and waste of money.

Not good at all. Many of the "preferred matches" I am routinely seeing eDate "preferred matched" sent to my account which are not a match at all. You have asked for my eDate preferences which I provided ( under age 58, <50 miles proximity, Caucasian or Asian ethnic/racial ) and yet you are routinely sending me "preferred matches" which are well beyond /outside of these requested preferences on an almost daily basis. This is a complete misrepresentation on your parts as most of these women could not even remotely be considered a match. You also send an individual candidate who when you try to research her further I just get sent to "Spin" and cannot even pursue the potential possibility. This is a waste of time/money for me to try to pursue these candidates. I am seeking a full refund as I have given your site time and opportunity to adjust my account accordingly and am still seeing the same results. I have previously called in and talked with an onsite customer service rep about the same issues at 514 907 0015....Do not renew my membership ( expiring 9/6/22) . Please credit back my credit card for the full amount charged.

If you are looking to throw money away, this is one place to accomplish that. Like most dating apps, you have to pay them if you want to see who likes you. So who likes me? No one from where I live. Their customer pool dried up and never came back. You're lucky if 2 or 3 new ones pop up daily. This website/service is a total waste of money. Buy a homeless person a meal instead.
