This site is awful and a complete waste of its users time. It pushes for unnecessary work instead of properly educating like it advertises itself to do. From being way too overly challenging, time consuming, and reading out almost every single thing on the page before and after you've answered a question, finally it allows you to move on to the next question. Insanely frustrating when all I'm trying to do is get my work done but the site throws in a bunch of extra stuff. PLEASE, to any school administrators thinking about switching to this program, don't.

I’ve been enrolled in Edgenuity for nearly 5 years, so I know firsthand how it all works. Edgenuity is the killer of child souls. I’ve never felt worse about my self worth in my life due to the extremely unrealistic amount of work and the outdated instructional videos. It’s an understatement to say that I’m dissatisfied with this program. Edgenuity has ruined my appreciation for learning and education. I advise you to not even consider Edgenuity as an option if you care about you or your child’s future.

This is probably the worst educational platform I've ever used. Most of the assignments given to you consist of having to watch extremely long, boring videos of some "teacher" jibber-jabbering and then after the video you have to answer questions which won't be easy because of it being impossible for pretty much anyone to retain the information given from the videos because of how boring they are. I literally looked up most of the questions and if you have to do that, you know it's bad. You are given multiple assignments each day which probably would take a week to finish, but it expects you to do it in a day, every day. Or else, you'll fall behind. And that's just one course. This website is absolutely sadistic towards students, especially for people who have ADHD like me. If you are a teacher who's reading this, for the love of God, DON'T use edgenuity.

A waste of time!!! I used to LOVE Spanish and Math, and now I HATE IT. I took notes on EVERY FRIGGIN WORD ON THE SLIDES and NO ONE ELSE DID. Everyone else CHEATED and I got a B. I Skipped EVERY MATH VIDEO and only learned through looking and my WRONG ANSWERS. You know what that means? I WAS SELF TAUGHT!!!! DONT DOWNLOAD, WASTE OF TIME!!

Never in my life have I come across a more unengaging and infuriating program than Edgenuity. Specifically, I am referring to the math courses, in this case algebra 1.5 and 2. So much of your lessons are going to be boring filler slop. If you're lucky, the terms you missed from the videos will be in the glossary, but that's incredibly hit or miss. Not to mention, the grade is completion based, so if you are enrolled in a school that limits your time to maybe an hour a day, you're near out of luck. On top of being boring, it is such a slow, borderline degrading experience. To retry on a question means you have to wait, sometimes for up to a minute, for the instructor to repeat info that you already knew in a monotone, sluggish voice. If I had the choice to be thrown into a pit with two rabid dogs, or to have to redo an Edgenuity course, I would be leaning HEAVILY towards the dogs. Furthermore, the program locks you if you take 5 attempts at a quiz. Typically, this would be a God-send, some form of academic manna, but as I said before, much of your course is going to be completion based. On top of all of this, you are expected to complete one to two "instruction" portions, which are comprised of 5 minute long videos and the occasional question, then an "assignment" portion, which is maybe 10 or so questions that are an absolute slog to get through, and then a 10 question quiz, which, like I said, will force you to retake it if your grade is below passing. To assign this to a student is at the least uninformed laziness, and at the worst blatant torment.

I'm writing this review while listening to one of Edgenuity's very long, unskippable videos. I am a freshman highschool student who is taking an edgenuity class for half a PE Credit. Simple, right? A quick, easy alternative to rearranging my schedule for half a credit. Wrong. Edgenuity is taxing. With school, extracurriculars, chores, and a part time job, Edgenuity is near impossible. I was meant to complete the course in a year. By the end of the first semester, I only completed 22% of the course. I don't often procrastinate, but this program is bad. The long videos that sometimes repeat themselves, the constant busywork, the outdated data. IT SUCKS. Like many other commonly used education softwares, it hasn't been updated since its creation. Edgenuity was made in 1998. Can you guess how many updates it has received in 27 years? Besides simple bug fixes, the course has only received twelve major updates, the last of which was in 2017. In all, this course needs a big reboot, or a full on shutdown.

Pretty good I do IMT2 edgenuity, and it has been kind of good. The videos are are kind of boring and give less content, but they are fine overall, as I learnt some stuff, and the quizzes and tests are good, and they present relevant information. I only do IMT2 edgenuity, so do not think this would apply to everyone.

The lessons are fine, as long as you get a fun teacher. The work is absolutely trash. These questions are nothing The lessons teaches me. And the assignments? I would get 3 out of 9 wrong and I would still fail. Algebra 2 is thw worst yet. I started the year off so bad, halfway through the semester I was destined to fail. I did my research, if I got a 100% on the final 10 sessions amd tests,quizzes, and the exam, I WOULD STILL FAIL THE CLASS!?! Edgenuity is really the worst program ever. The grading sucks and doesn't give me a chance. I had a 4.19 gpa when I went in person last year. this year, now that im doing edgenuity, my GPA is a 2.3. They're not letting you try. Never again will I use this after this semester.

Edgenuity has a lot of super long, unskippable, boring videos. It is also very repetitive and is frying my brain. The year that I had to use Edgenuity was the worst year of my education. Ban Edgenuity!!!!

I can use this to waste my students' time, allowing me to do important things like reading yaoi and propaganda given by our government. Plus it automatically fufills my miserable and depressed student quota. Overall 10/10 gonna torture my students with this instead of i-ready.

genuinely useless for actually learning. You could gain more knowledge from 10 minutes of instagram reels than a full class on edgenuity.

My older brother said this sucked. I was unknowing to the horrors that are Edge. I greave my unknowing little soul. I opened the app and my soul left me. I now know that I fear the word Edge. When this app came out, I think I may of heard god weap. If I could give 0 stars I would. I learned more things off of Youtube.

I can't even begin to unpack all of my issues with this program. This review is from the point of view of a student. Specifically a senior who might not even graduate this year partly because of this horrid 'learning' program.
I'm doing recovery, because there were a lot of learning disruptions in the past and admittedly I was a stupid teen who didn't want to work. Now, even as I'm doing my best to actually learn, Edgenuity makes it painful and soul-sucking.
The worst part for me is the lack of engagement. Instead of anything interactive it's just painful, monotonous, repetitive videos that can go on for 2-20 minutes or longer depending on the subject. These videos are difficult to focus on in my experience because of how boring they all are.
Linked to that issue, there are only a few lessons that are somewhat interesting. It's just watch a video, answer a question, repeat. Watch a video, answer questions, repeat. Quiz, more videos, questions, etc. It gets so repetitive I want to rip out my hair.
Another thing that makes this program so bad is the grading system itself. Instead of anyone actually reading over my written work, it's a program searching for key words. No matter how good an answer may be, if it doesn't have the key words you get a 0. I don't think I need to explain why a system like that sucks for learning.
Outdated information threw me for a loop a few times. Both in videos and answers, sometimes the 'right' answer is outdated and wrong. Makes things really confusing and frustrating.
Edgenuity is just a bad program overall. The ONLY thing that's decent is some of the teachers seem to be actually trying. That's it. The program itself? Awful.

I am writing this review based off of my perspective as a student. I am doing summer health classes to get that out of the way for my future high school years. This app is very unreliable for teaching someone and is very unhelpful at teaching me anything. The prerecorded videos take up more than half of the amount of time that you spend on the app. I am also given many different questions on the quiz's that have more than one correct answer but I am only aloud to choose one. This app can not teach you shit and it warms my heart to see it have such a terrible rating. I even have my mother help me on a couple of the tests but we still could not manage to get 100% on very many of them. They people that run the app always say they will fix the problems with the app but they never do because they are lazy and could care less. I do not suggest anyone to even consider trying this app due to all of the inconveniences there are on it.

parents, please don't sign your kids up for this. I do 9+ hours of work DAILY and i'm still behind. the AI detectors are so innacurate. To truly get a 100% on the written response questions, you have to type the right keywords i guess, cause it seems like when i write more, I get a 0 compared to if i write less. oh, and its a hit or miss with saving on this website. I've used multiple different websites and yet half of my stuff doesn't save. Its such a dread, especially with 17 minute unskippable videos and the type of voice you would hear at a funeral. Its seriously terrible. Parents, please don't sign your kids up for it. They'll hate you.😭. This is the first review for anything I've ever done, it's that bad.

Honestly, it is WAYYY to time consuming. Having to take 4 lessons in under a day is around 7 hours for me. The videos are entirely too slow paced and it literally takes the fun out of learning new things.

I'm writing from a students view and this site is so bad long unskipable videos and sometimes you do the work and makes you restart I wouldn't even wish my worst enemy to do a whole class on edgenuity, straight hell I have 20 hours on this bum app and Im 79% done with one of my classes. And I still have to do 2 more, what the hell am I supposed to do to finish I only have 13 more days of school
