I've bought a few different items from Edisons in the past 18 months or so.
Yeah...most of the machinery is made in China but I've been absolutely impressed with the quality of the tools/machinery that I've bought.
Edisons prices are the best, coupled with free and fast delivery.
Hard to beat.
My latest purchase from Edisons last Friday 7 February 2025 has got me a little concerned though.
It was picked up from Edisons by their courier,
Hunter Express on
8 February 2025.
Tracking shows that my order has remained static in Hunter Express depot since that date.
Today is 11 February 2025 and it's still there.
Yes...I know that it's free shipping but I'm now beginning to wonder when my package will begin to move.
Hopefully it will end well but after reading some horror reviews about Hunter Express, I'm left questioning why a reputable mob like Edisons would continue to use a poorly rated courier.
Surely they would know that disgruntled customers seldom return for repeat business.
I'm quite prepared to eat humble pie if I'm proved wrong with my judgement.

My package arrive late today,
12 February 2025. Updates to my phone all along the way showing where Hunter Express courier guy was.
It was a hefty 45 kg carton with my new BAUMR- AG log splitter.
The carton was in pristine condition, the Hunter Express guy wheeled it safely into my garage. He was friendly, polite and a pleasure to do business with.
On opening the carton later, I found that the log splitter was in perfect condition, no dings, damage or scrapes.

I got my products shipped to my parents address, as i have done in the past with Edisons, as it meant shipping was free, but an almost $500 shipping fee was added after I placed my order. Edisons have refused to refund the RIDICULOUS FRAUDULENT SHIPPING COST, and stopped responding to my emails.
DISCUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

If you sell your machine products to other states, you should have a repair station in the local area! In this way, if buyers encounter product quality problems, they can send them to nearby repair stations for repair. This is a common practice and a normal practice that consumers will accept. But now you (1) sell inferior products; (2) enslave consumers to spend more losses, to follow your authoritarian orders, and to pay for your mistakes! Hi Mitch: You ordered me to go to the bunnings to get cartons for packaging. (1) It takes time and manpower to get the cartons; (2) It also takes time and manpower to pack. Are these not worth the money? You deliberately ignored such a simple truth! All the time and manpower spent were caused by the inferior products you sold. Do you think your mistakes should be borne by the buyers? You are such a shameless person!
I bought EDISONS substandard goods. It has caused me a lot of trouble, time and money loss. You should not increase my loss, including time. If your goods are qualified products, these problems will not happen! Please take your responsibility. Send someone to the address to pick up the substandard goods!
I bought a garden shredder from edisons. It broke after 3 uses. I contacted them, and they said to post it back to
them. They also said that it is my responsibility if it broke. I can post it back, but on 2 conditions. 1. they pay for
packaging, 2. it is not my responsibility if it breaks. Also the manager was not listed on the website, and the people
who emailed me didn't even put there last names.
I am a buyer in Brisbane. edisons does not have a repair station in Brisbane, which is a huge obstacle for them. edisons also asked me to mail /send by post it to New South Wales to be responsible for the packaging costs and safe and intact delivery guarantee, which infringes on the interests of customers.Regards

On assembling work bench I found it extremely sturdy and strong. All the holes lined up perfectly and there were no missing parts. It was delivered quickly.
Just a minor issue was the hole, in backboard, to pass the power board cord through was a little smaller than the plug. Not hard to fix. Very happy. Thanks
