I believe this is what l ordered from your company back in December 2025. Cooked per reccomendations. Tried to eat but was tough and entirely too salty. Through it away!

Excellent. We don’t eat much meat, and pork is a rare delicacy. This ham was a hit with our family during the holidays. I’ll definitely be back again next Christmas.

Love your Country hams But did not like the sweet on the out side Why did you add sweet to a COUNTRY HAM they are salt hams that’s what’s makes them important to our friends who can’t have Sugar

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your business and your feedback.
Way too small for the price and taste nothing like the EDWARDS ham like the days from the 90s or the early 2000s. Definitely changed hands! That's too bad!!!

Thank you for the review Linwood. We are sorry you were disappointed in the order and will relay that information to the appropriate department.
I rarely take the time to write a review, but this year I wanted to share. Our family has ordered a Virginia country ham every Christmas season for most of my 75 years. This year, due to travel, we ordered a Wigwam cooked bone-in ham early and popped it in the freezer for a few weeks. We moved it from the freezer to the refrigerator a few days before Christmas, and then let it sit out a few hours before carving. The whole family agreed it was the best tasting ham we've ever gotten and the easiest to carve paper-thin. Bravo Edwards!

Thank you for your purchase Matthew! We value our customers feedback and do hope that you will be back to visit us soon!
The only concern I have is that my Wigwam Ham from Edwards Virginia Smokehouse came from Missouri, rather than Virginia. Tasted just fine, but it was a bit of a surprise, when you're hoping for a latent whiff of 200-year-old boxwoods.... ;-)

The ham is way too salty
Antwoord van Edwards Virginia Smokehouse
Thank you for your honest review Mary! The Wigwam ham would be more salty due to the curing and aging process.
Not quite the same as the Wigwam Hams of yesterday. However, still the best ham around!

We sugar cured our own pigs when I was growing up. Love the ham you produced and I will definitely be getting another one for myself and gifting these to my children. Thank you. Jeanette Cleaver.

We are so glad that Edwards has been able to still procure such an unusual and tasty classic Virginia ham even after having lost their smokehouse in Surrey several years ago. We continue to be great fans of Edwards Wigwam hams.
