Thank you very much for sharing your feedback — we completely understand your concerns.

The adult signature fee is not charged by EightVape and is not optional for us. This requirement comes from the PACT Act (Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking Act) and applies to all vape retailers in the U.S. Any package that contains vape products — even just e-liquid — must be signed for by an adult (21+) upon delivery. This is to prevent underage smoking. And the carrier charges a fee for this service, not kept by us.

Some websites may appear not to charge a signature fee, but in many cases, they include the cost inside the price of their products, or they are shipping without the legally required verification, and many of those stores have already been shut down by the carrier or the FDA.

If you place another order, we will provide you with a personal discount code as a gesture of goodwill.

We completely respect your choice to shop wherever is most convenient for you — but we cannot remove the adult signature requirement because doing so would violate federal shipping regulations.

Thank you for your message, and we completely understand your concerns.

I want to reassure you that there is nothing shady going on — the extra verification you saw is not because of you, but because our system has a very strict anti–fraud and age-verification system. This protects two things:
1. To prevent underage vaping (federal compliance requirement).

2. To protect customers from credit-card fraud, so that no one can use your card or your identity without permission.

Sometimes the system asks customers to verify their identity only once, usually on the second order or when certain settings trigger additional security. It does not mean anything is wrong with your account. It may be that your shipping address and billing address are different, which will trigger our anti-fraud mechanism, which can avoid many credit card thefts.

Also, just to clarify, we do NOT request a driver’s license. We only need to verify that the buyer is over 21. A simple photo ID upload or age-verification step is only used for security and is never shared with any third party.

I’m truly sorry that the experience made you feel uncomfortable — that was never our intention. Many customers appreciate the extra security once they understand why it exists, but we agree the system could explain itself more clearly.
