I signed up for Offer Elevate
I signed up for Offer Elevate, a $2,500 marketing program that was supposed to help grow sales for my Shopify store, PawCaptain.
Mark, the owner, personally sold me on the program. During the sales process, the program was also presented to me as being performance-focused, or “pay on performance” as I understood it, which gave me even more confidence that their success would be tied to actually producing results for my business.
I was told they had access to paid actors, scripts, content creators, and an actual team that would help create professional content and advertising. After signing up, Mark introduced me to around six different people through Slack.
Despite being introduced to this entire team, Chad was basically the only person I consistently dealt with. Even more frustrating, I was constantly being asked to send Chad my own content so he could make ads from it.
That left me wondering: what exactly was I paying $2,500 for?
Content creation and professional advertising were major reasons I signed up. Yet the ads I received were honestly worse than the ones I was already making myself. My own ads were getting more clicks, more likes, and more engagement. I came to Offer Elevate because I wanted professionals who could take PawCaptain beyond what I was already doing myself, not because I needed someone to repeatedly ask me for content and then turn it into ads that performed worse.
And most importantly, the sales growth I signed up for never happened.
I understand that no marketing company can magically guarantee sales. That’s not my complaint. My complaint is the enormous difference between what I felt I was being sold by the owner and the service I actually experienced once I signed up.
Based on my experience with Offer Elevate, I would not sign up again. Nor should anyone else.
