I had a great experience with my tutor Dr Lauren Becker. Thanks to all the help I was able to pass my COMLEX Level 1, and do something that seemed impossible. \

I worked with Elite Medical Prep for the most important medical board exam of my life. They responded quickly and professionally. I was paired with a tutor who (actually) customized a program for me. She tracked my progress and keyed in my key weaknesses that I could firm up. In those eight weeks of studying, I knew I could count on her to give me honest feedback and guidance. She let me call her at any time. I improved 65 points from my baseline and no have the opportunity to apply into the specialty of my choosing. I cannot thank Elite Medical Prep enough for giving me the best shot for my future. Worth every penny!

I had Amy as my tutor and it was a great experience. She was very helpful, she was able to explain concepts in a very simple manner that made it easier to recall. I would choose her over and over again.

With one month left before my scheduled second attempt at Step 1, I was anxious and upset that my NBMEs plateaued at passing and feared I was not going pass my second attempt. I knew I needed help, and once I had reached out to EMP, I was quickly set up with Martin the following day (Thank you, Nina!).

During the trial session, I was SO uncomfortable with the Socratic method of teaching. Yet, Martin, who is incredibly knowledgeable, was patient, encouraging, prompted questions when needed, and pinpointed where I needed to improve. After the session ended, a study plan that consisted of bi- or tri-weekly tutoring sessions interspersed amongst self-study was provided, which I found to be challenging but manageable and of tremendous help.

We discussed incorrect UW/NBME/UWSA questions and/or high yield topics (after a few minutes of me venting in the beginning... haha), and I was also provided an emailed summary after each session.

My practice exams improved, and likewise with my confidence, which carried me through test day! Martin reached out a few hours after the test to see how things went, and I replied with confidence that I passed -which I did! ☺

I am currently working with Martin and EMP for CK prep, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity.

I loved the experience of working with Elite Medical Prep. As a non-traditional student with a background in the humanities, I needed the coaching and expertise that Elite Medical Prep offered. I took off 1 star because I felt my tutor talked a lot (not necessarily about content), and I think it would've been more beneficial if he had listened more, or even talked in a more concise/abbreviated way about non-content material as I don't think this time was as conducive to my learning

I worked with Danielle and she was amazing. We analyzed my strengths and weaknesses and made a great schedule. She was always flexible and easy to contact. The tutor sessions were extremely productive and she taught really well while always be supportive when I struggled with concepts. By the end I was much more comfortable with questions and test taking strategies. During the process, I had some bumps in the road but we always reevaluated my progress and did what was best for me. The Elite Med Prep team was always ready to help and I appreciate that.

Step 3 has been my most successful and gratifying exam of all USMLEs. I prepared for this exam in less time and scored better in relative terms compared to the rest. Rhodes helped me to be efficient with my preparation considering my time constraints. He showed me the value of flashcards to consolidate memory and coached me on how to approach questions strategically. With his wealth of medical knowledge, he explained my areas of weakness.

From day one, Rhodes was very organized and systematic. He provided a personalized study schedule so that I covered all the material needed for the exam.

Rhodes is a friendly guy and its easy to talk to him. He gives you honest feedback when needed.

The company and the tutor seemed not very invested in my success. Lessons were ok but I don't know if they were worth the price. The day before my test and also after the test, there was no communication from the tutor (no good luck, tips, and seeing how the exam went). It seemed like besides the two hour lessons, they didn't care at all. The only good thing about the company is that they refund you the unused hours, which I did immediately. I do not recommend this company at all

Sessions are high yield because they teach you a way of thinking about problems that dissects all the wrong answers. If you ever thought that UWorld explanations aren’t enough, then this class is for you.

I want to share my great experience with Elite Medical Prep. I am an IMG from Republic of Belarus. I've attended an USMLE Step 2CK review course and I like it so much. I've got a lot of useful tips how to solve test questions. Plenty of difficult questions from different topics were discussed in this awesome course.
I want to thank our excellent tutors, Dr. Brus-Ramer and Dr. Rubin, for there clear explanations and willingness to help students understand topics better. They shared with us valuable strategies and techniques in a test approaching. This course made a substantial contribution in my Step 2CK preparation.

I had a great experience with EMP. I started out working with Jim who was able to really help me hammer down the physiology and pathology commonly tested. We worked through cases questions and UWorld questions to cement the different ways these concepts can be tested. I worked with Madeleine as my test date approached and she was great at simplifying and explaining topics that were giving me trouble mastering. We really worked on how to read and understand exactly what the questions were asking, as there can be complex question stems that are easy to get lost in. Both helped me gain understanding and confidence approaching the exam and I was fortunate to work with them.

Very helpful and encouraging tutoring. Helped synthesize and bring together information, organizing it in a way that made it easier to compare and contrast different diseases, etc.

This course was incredible! I loved how it was laid out and structured and really focused on the absolute highest yield material. That being said, I didn't feel like anything was glossed over or overlooked. I also thought the caliber of the instructors was truly superb (especially Dr. Rubin). The format was also great - lecture style but still engaging. I felt so comfortable participating and also learning from the material presented.
