It's tough to create a trading forum worse than Forex-Station, but somehow EliteTrader has done so. The level of discrimination, harassment, vulgarity, profanity, insults, and offensive name calling is utterly disgusting. The moment that you respectfully disagree with any member of the in-crowd, they publicly label you a "scammer" without cause. The positive reviews here are those in-crowd members simply confirming that fact. The false scammer label is a signal to other in-crowd goons to launch into personal attacks. They seem to be staunchly opposed to algorithmic trading. I guess they are stuck in 1985. Are they even trading today? Furthermore, there is little to no actionable trading content there. The overwhelming majority of content is banter, arguments, and/or all-out written assaults. The real scammers reside in the forum's official sponsors because they are poorly vetted and allowed to link to whatever remote website they like. When you've finally had enough and decide to delete your account, there is no option in your forum profile settings to do so. Therefore, don't believe the phony hyped up membership numbers. The forum is littered with phony "professional" gurus who claim to have mansions, yachts, and supercars. If you're into that kind of malarky, there's plenty of that on YouTube. It's all BS.

In my experience, this forum is dominated by a small group of extremely aggressive and abusive users. I encountered repeated personal attacks, foul language, bullying, and comments that I considered openly sexist.

One particular user became especially disturbing. He seemed obsessively fixated on me, repeatedly following my posts, leaving numerous hostile comments and making things up about me.

I have participated in many online forums over the years, and I have never experienced anything remotely like this anywhere else. For me, the atmosphere became extraordinarily hostile — an absolute snake pit.

Another thing users should be aware of is that you cannot simply erase your history from the forum. Even if your account is later banned or disabled, your old posts and comments will remain publicly visible.

Based on my personal experience, I would strongly recommend staying away from this forum, particularly if this kind of hostile environment affects your mental well-being.

I joined Elite Trader some years ago. Any time I post a query, or any questions related related to a wide spectrum of trading stocks, options, futures etc. I would receive abuse and subject to degradation. This website is full of bullies and failed traders. Taking it out on others. I no longer use this website.

Well... This is trading. Lots of scammers populate the industry, and in this forum, they are found quickly.
Also wannabe who thing they broke the code and found the Holi grail won't last. The user have no filters, and I love this forum for this reason.
This ain't Reddit.
If you want to scam around and make sure users won't insult you for it, head to Reddit.

Elitetrader has retired and currently active professionals sharing knowledge. But most of all, filtering noise and delusions.

I joined what I thought was a legitimate forum to ask a simple question about trading results. Instead of a helpful discussion, I was immediately attacked by random users who called me names and accused me of things that were not true. I provided proof of my trades to clarify, but they deleted my messages and blocked me from posting. They even banned me and labeled me as a spammer, which made no sense.
After losing over $300000 because of what I later realized was a bigger scam connected to that community, I finally got the help I needed through the name in my profile picture. It was the only way I managed to recover my money. If you are considering joining forums like this, be very careful. Some of them are not what they appear to be.

I joined this forum and asked the question, can someone do 500 trades in a row without a loss, I got trashed right away, called a scam artist etc ect. I showed proof of my trades then I got blocked and messages deleted from the forum. They banned me for spam! couldn't believe it, moderators very good, let a new person post a question then let them get hackled to bits from clowns then ban the person being hackled.
