Bought a pair of slippers.
Thought they would be good for someone with bad feet..
Turns out they were too small.
Wrote to company to return item.
I was told I have to send them back to China or keep them and get 10%.
Either way... returning them would cost $40.. keeping them would get $5. Lesson learned.. never again..

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! The merchandise looks nothing like the quality on their pictures! Wish I read these before I ordered! I ordered 2 dresses.
The only way I can describe the material was like a thin shower curtain. They were wrap dresses with no buttons or ties on the inside wrap so it was basically like putting on a bathrobe.
I contacted them about a return. They gave me the address (China). After over a month, the tracking says it’s still in customs?! I’ll never see a dime back! Spent over $150 and then another $40 for return shipping - so now out almost $200!

They are a scam company. They’ve been telling me for 3 weeks that I have to be patient for shipment of my order and refuse to cancel and refund my order. Do not order from them!

Never buy anything from them they're liars their scams they haven't refund my money back I am going to make a lawsuit against. This company is a fraud

I paid almost $70 for the cheapest shoes I’ve ever seen.

I opted for a 15% partial refund.  Advertisement is misleading and borders on fraudulent.  The website does not disclose that your product is made in China, which tells me the product is cheap.  Costing $32-35.00 to return something is NOT free returns.  Shame on this company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!

Address on website said US only to find out later it’s Chinese and products are cheap, don’t match description, and “hassle free refund” is a lie. Just a sophisticated scam site selling crap goods under the guise of a US based company.

WARNING!! DO NOT order from this company, you will pay the ultimate price. I ordered some kind of sport shoes, 2 pairs in a 9 1/2 size back in May and obviously they come from another country in size 44, wrong size. So, they let me keep them and let me order the exact same thing with credit and so I received two more pairs, same shoe but size 42. Well , a 9 1/2 for foreign shoes is a size 41. And, of course they will not respond back to any of my emails. So, I still have these two pairs of shoes sitting here. And, it took FOREVER............. to receive these orders. Total idiots, obviously the company or the workers don't know how to do their job and operate a business, correctly.

The shoe is not a quality item.not worth the money and not the shoe advertised that I chose.

Everything in their catalog is made of cheap materials. I strongly advise not buying anything from this place. You also cannot return the items for a refund. They’ll give you a discount, store credit. Anything but a full refund. I bought a top it was incredibly thin, cheaply made polyester. I could have bought a much better shirt for a fraction of what I paid.

The website clearly states 30 day refund guaranteed. That's false. They offer you 10% refund and you can keep the cheap garment. I went back and forth with them until they agreed to a 100% store credit, gave me a code and the code was fake. I've emailed them twice and they don't respond. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THE CLOTHING IS CHEAP AND THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND.

The shoes I ordered the Bridget Gladiator Sandals looked so much like my old ones that were Life Stride that I loved. WELL, these just arrived. OMG, the cheapest things ever. Opened the first plastic bag and the glue fumes overwhelmed me. They feel like a kid made them. No structure, cheap, plastic all the way. I am going to donate them. I should have paid more attention to the other reviews.

I ordered a "Parke" sweatshirt for $70 after being recommended to order from here from my girlfriend. Both of our mocknecks arrived. Silkier than my sheets. The address of the company after doing some digging says Netherlands. It's shipped internationally. It's not in Charleston South Carolina. I thought I was shopping from a boutique, and so did my girlfriend. That's their game. Also, I ordered an XL, and the sleeves didn't even go to my wrists. (my normal size is medium) the XL fit like a small on me. Terrible product, delivery, and overall service. SCAMMY! JUST A SCAM.

Fraudulent company. Even though it states they accept returns they do not. Their products are horrible, the cheapest fake items from lowest quality scam factories. STAY AWAY & SAVE YOUR MONEY

They’re the worst the material is cheap it’s not worth your money! They won’t refund you your whole money even if you want to return the item they’ll keep offering alternatives just don’t brother buying at all! They aren’t from the USA either you can get their material on SHEIN basically and they will try to give you 20% back and steal from u think about it what company tells u to email them for a return label legit companies just have it on their website don’t be fooled people.

I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel other customers should be aware of my experience.

I ordered several items from Ella Sam Charleston expecting the sizing to be comparable to other established outdoor and lifestyle brands such as Orvis and L.L.Bean. I typically wear an XL or XXL, so I ordered XXL to be safe. Unfortunately, every item fit more like a Large. The sizing wasn't just slightly off—it wasn't even close.

That alone wouldn't have prompted a negative review. Companies have different sizing standards, and I understand that.

The real issue arose when I attempted to make a return.

The company's website clearly states that customers should email to obtain the return address and that the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping costs for a refund. I was completely willing to pay the return shipping.

Instead of providing return instructions as described on their website, I was told I had only two options:

Keep the items and receive a 10% refund, or
Accept a 50% discount coupon toward a future purchase.

I was never given the opportunity to return the unworn merchandise for the refund described in their published return policy.

That was extremely disappointing. Had the company simply honored its own stated return policy, I would not be writing this review.

I encourage anyone considering ordering to pay very close attention to the sizing and to understand exactly how the company's return process works before making a purchase.

This is a scam. I thought I was buying a sweatshirt for my little girl and paid $70. I then noticed that it shipped from China, despite the storefront claiming that it was in Charleston, South Carolina. At that point, I knew that I was probably getting scammed. I finally got the sweatshirt and it didn’t even have a tag on it except a tiny tag that said 100% polyester. It’s highly flammable and feels like plastic. The lettering on the sweatshirt is supposed to be sewn in. Instead, this one has some sort of cheap sticker on it that would crinkle in the wash. When I contacted them about the scam item, they offered me 10% back. I said absolutely not, that they should be ashamed of themselves for scamming people and they counter-offered 20%. Please be aware. This is their entire game: they steal pictures from legitimate website and send you fake goods. When you complain, they make it so impossible to get your money back or return that you just eat your losses. Do not order from here.

awful do not buy from. fake products and when i was unhappy with what the product was/quality and asked for a refund i only got 20 dollars back from the 80 i spent. do not buy.

The item was not as described- totally different color- material was very cheap- like flammable cheap. I would never purchase from this company. Their solution was for me to pay additional money for shipping and they would replace the item… I do not want another cheaply made, falsely advertised item.

I bought a dress through Charleston thinking it was in the USA. It’s out of country so it took a long time to get when I got it. It looked absolutely nothing like the photo it was cheap material cheaply made bad fit when I asked how to return it, they said they would give me 10% back or I could get a gift card for 50% off a future order. not acceptable.
