I had a truly disappointing experience with Elleme, and I strongly advise against ordering from them.

First, the delivery was significantly delayed, and customer service kept providing vague excuses rather than real solutions. After waiting for about two weeks, the bag finally arrived and it was a massive letdown. For a price of over €400, I expected premium quality, but what I received looked and felt nowhere near €100 in value.

The suede was stiff and unrefined, the gold metal hardware was overly shiny and cheap-looking, and worst of all, the bag had a strong gasoline-like smell. The overall craftsmanship was far below what I would expect from a so-called mid-luxury brand. Adding to the disappointment, Elleme promotes itself as a French brand, manufactures in Italy, but ships from a warehouse in Portugal raising serious questions about quality control and environmental impact.

To top it off, their customer service was shockingly unprofessional. After filing a PayPal dispute, they had the audacity to ask me to close my claim before issuing a refund. Even now, they are dragging their feet in returning my money.

If you’re considering purchasing from Elleme, think twice. The quality is subpar, the service is frustrating, and the entire experience is simply not worth the hassle or the price.

First discovered them at Holt Renfrew few years ago, love their Baozi bag. Got the Small Boomerang in Suede Brownie, cute little bag perfect for special occasions.

I love my new Boomerang bag in Suede! Love the design and great craftmanship. Customer service helped me clear customs to Canada to received my bag just in time for Christmas!! Next purchase : Trousse woven leather dark brown. Highly recommend this French Brand.

I recently bought Elleme Boomerang bag online, super happy with my first purchase with them. Leather is soft, colour burgundy is exactly what I was looking for. Gold handle is quality yet light weighted. Size is just perfect for my daily use. I will get their trousse bag soon :)

Bought a brown and cream Elleme
Treasure top-handle bag and used it once. Put it away and wrapped it in the protective bag it came in only to discover the cream leather is completely discoloured and is grey. This is a disgrace. Bag was stored safely and only used once… what a waste of money

Abosulately disgusting and terrible customer service, makes it totally impossible for a return. Nobody ever replies to me despite numerous emails that was sent to them for the past week

I purchased the Elleme bag from Matches.Com with high hopes, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a big disappointment. Within less than a month of regular use, the bag strap fell apart while i was walking. The stitching came undone, and the strap snapped, rendering it completely unusable as a shoulder bag.

Initially, I was drawn to this bag for its stylish design and seemingly durable materials advertised by the retailer. However, the reality was far from expectations. It's clear now that the craftsmanship and quality control are severely lacking.

I reached out to customer service at Matches to resolve the issue and they didn't even respond. They offered no explanation or solution, leaving me stuck with a broken bag and out of pocket.

I strongly advise potential buyers to steer clear of this product unless you're looking for something that won't last.

Poor quality items. I bought the raffia Bazoi bag and it started to change color after wearing it twice. Raffia is a natural material that either green or tan in color. it should not be changing it’s color to white unless it is plastic masked as raffia. Would not recommend
