I have used them twice and both times I was very pleased with the service. They dealt with any problems quickly, making it a less stressful experience that it might otherwise have been. They also outlined all the costs clearly right at the start.

Would like to recommend ELP to anyone buying or selling property in or out of their pension , this is a particularly tricky process as I have just learnt ,

Happily I had Duncan McFadzean in my corner to see the process through , unfortunately for us we encountered many obstacles from my own pension provider who proved to be very poor with communication and had to be dragged through the whole process , thankfully I had Duncan to help drag them through it ,

Got the job done on time and within agreed budget. Beyond sale slow to respond to relevant queries, and, didn't really answer properly. I felt the Solicitor's Technician was a bit challenging in an odd way during purchase nit picking about irrelevant things. This wasn't welcome during what was a stressful period in which I felt I had no guarantee of success - customer service training required I suggest. This is my first and only experience using a Solicitor, so I have nothing to compare the experience to. Okay overall, we got our property.

This will be our fifth move in 35 years, and the purchase process was made effortlessly simple and smooth by Lisbeth-Ann and her team.
If only some of the earlier ones could have been so stress free! Nothing but praise. Thank-you.

Conveyancing.
I was assisted by Laura and Brittany to buy a house in Edinburgh in early 2022. Super efficient and switched on team. Explanations of the legal parts were always understandable and responses to queries dealt with quickly.

An absolutely brilliant service from Irene and Sharon, as first time buyers we had no idea what buying entailed and Irene guided us through the whole process. Irene answered all of our questions swiftly and ensured we didn't panic or stress when we had issues with our mortgage. I cannot recommend their service enough.

ELP dealt with a change of ownership on a property and title deeds for me. After receiving a number of quotes I received a very responsible fee for work done. Everyone I spoke with replied quickly and walked me through each step as required. I would 100% recommend and reuse their services.
