I hired this company for an inspection
I hired this company for an inspection, and my experience was incredibly disappointing. The inspector was unprofessional and rude, making personal comments that were completely unnecessary and out of line.
His behaviour was disrespectful, especially given he was hired to perform a job, not make unsolicited remarks.
Additionally, the inspector handled raw sewage and mould without any apparent care, which was concerning. What made the situation worse was his intrusive actions in my personal space—he went through my wardrobe, contaminating my belongings without permission.
The report provided was riddled with grammatical errors and spelling mistakes, which shows a lack of professionalism and attention to detail.
When I requested corrections, the company was confrontational and refused to address the issue properly.
I will be reporting this company to Trading Standards, and I strongly advise others to avoid using their services. The £250 I paid was a waste, given the unprofessional conduct, the contamination of my belongings, and the subpar report.
Please beware and reconsider before hiring this company.

You first contacted us regarding a mould issue that your landlord was not addressing and requested a discount, which we provided as a goodwill gesture. When you later reported a sewage leak, we also carried out a full Category 3 biohazard assessment free of charge, despite this normally attracting a higher fee.
The engineer’s comment you refer to was directed at your landlord, in empathy with the extent of raw sewage present. Opening cupboards is standard practice in damp and mould surveys, and he was wearing the correct PPE in line with industry standards.
The report provided was detailed and impartial at 20 pages. Two small typos were corrected immediately, but it was certainly not “riddled with errors.” We also responded to your emails promptly and politely — nine times in total — to clarify the report’s findings. At every stage we acted professionally.
