BEWARE! Scams
I had to close my entire empower account that I had for a couple years bc I kept getting scammed and I believe it was an inside job, money kept getting deducted from different places I never been at and no I do not use my card online ever, so when I go to dispute it, it’s a hassle, they didn’t try to stop the scam or try to investigate, all they said we can’t stop the payment and I said so I loose my money ! When they decided to do something after several complaints! I got my money back !They have no clue what they are doing !! They don’t even try to protect your money In there or nothing!! It’s very upsetting that it’s a FCU and your money can’t be protected!I had to get new cards over n over when I decided to just get rid of them. THIS IS HOW I FOUND OUT THEY SCAM THEY OWN CUSTOMERS-One card was brand new I didn’t even use it at all and within days got scammed $200 again that’s how I knew it was the same person inside that issued me the card. Probably took a quick picture of it behind closed doors and did they thing. That’s how I knew they scam ppl.
