Michael from epic in ashford was so Professional
Michael from epic in ashford was brilliant. Came out within 20 min and was transparent from the start. Did a quick diagnostic over the first phone call for a upvc door issue so he understood the problem. Explained all fees before I agreed to call out, once agreed, turned up and fixed the issue. Could have exagerated a "problem" to inflate the bill i.e the whole mechanism needs changing (when it didnt) but he stopped at the minimum work that fixed the problem. Advised on improvements but no pressure at all. Could have kept the original lock i had issue with but decided to replace the lock as well as requested an additional lock for another door (just moved in to the house) In and out within 20min, played with the dog, interacted with my inquisitive 5yr old and gave advise on new keys, warranty and security. 1 visit, 2 locks on a friday late afternoon, £125, no hidden fees or unexpected additional charges. Charged what was explained on the first call out.I can't recommend enough.

Good reliable service
Bloke nice and friendly, soon came out to look at door lock. Was a bit of a challenge for him but good reliable service given and he sorted out the door lock. Would highly recommend him

Mike came out after to me recently and he was absolutely brilliant. Really professional, friendly and polite from start to finish. He did everything I needed him to do, gave all the windows and doors a thorough once over, and sorted lots of little bits and pieces on various doors and windows. His fee was also extremely reasonable. I’ll definitely be using him again and would highly recommend him.

Having arrived home around 10.30pm on a Saturday night to my horror I found that I had locked the front door with my keys in the lock in the inside. Luckily I had my mobile so a quick search on line led me to Epic Locksmiths who were local and Michael was with me and was able to unlock the door remotely and in no we were in. Thank you Michael, a brilliant job!

Quick response and great service
Our back door handle went loose and wouldn’t open or close the door, it just kept turning. It was around 10:30pm on Valentines day and we didn’t hold out much luck for getting someone out. However Michael responded immediately and was with us within 30 mins. He was polite, honest and informative. Not only did he fix the handle but re-aligned the door and fitted a new mechanism. The pricing was also really reasonable given it was a very late night call out (and it was freezing cold!). I had expected it to be more so was pleasantly surprised. Really nice guy and would highly recommend.

A loose handle that just spins is never ideal—particularly when it stops the door opening or closing properly—so I’m glad we were able to not only replace the failed mechanism but also realign the door to prevent further issues.

A key stuck in the lock can be a real headache, so I’m glad I could get to you within a couple of hours and resolve it quickly without any further issues. Wherever possible, I always aim to remove broken or jammed keys cleanly and make sure the lock is working smoothly before I leave.

Stuck outside with children.. amazing response!!
Thank you very much for helping me get into our home yesterday evening with 2 young children.
My husband had left the key inside the property and had gone to London which left me stuck outside with 2 young children in the dark & cold weather. Mike was with me within 20 minutes of my husband calling and got me back into our house safely within 5 minutes. He even helped with all the bags and made sure we was inside ok, he gave some great advise about our doors/locks which I am now looking into.
Highly recommend and will definitely use again.

Mike responded quickly to my initial enquiry and made arrangements to come look at the lock. Turned out it was a little more complex due to the age but Mike managed to secure a part quickly and popped back the next day to replace the lock. I found Mike to be honest, reliable and trustworthy. He did a great job and i wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him

Micheal is the best responder in Locksmiths
Micheal came in under 25mins when my hubby called. He discovered wood chippings were in the hole and causing a block when the key is turning around.
He hooved, checked that there is no damage to the actual lock, put it back nicely and decided he is not charging a thing.
I was shocked but touched, never ever have I come across a locksmith who didn't even charge for a call out.
Most will charge for their fuel usage even if they didn't fix anything.
I have safely kept his card digitally on my phone and will recommend him 1000%
