However, we must strongly clarify that the damage you refer to was not present prior to your rental. Our vehicles are always thoroughly inspected before and after each rental, with clear documentation, photos, and a signed vehicle condition report.
In this case, the document you presented after the rent, was not the original agreement. It included a different signature and had been altered — which is a serious matter. Our official agreement, signed at the time of pickup and verified by our staff, clearly shows the vehicle condition as it was. Suggesting we forged documents is not only false but damaging and unfair.
We also want to clarify that, while we do accept most major international cards, we currently do not accept AMEX or certain U.S. debit cards, — this is a standard policy across many European rental agencies.
We apply our policies fairly and consistently to all customers. While we understand that additional charges can be frustrating, we stand by the integrity of our process and the evidence we provided.
