Excelsior Cars were very easy to deal with, whether booking online or speaking in person. booking was easy, prices were very good and the drivers were lovely. Prompt and friendly. First time we have used them to transport our family of 8 to and from the airport but will definitely use them again. Highly reccommend.

Excelsior Cars provide excellent service
Excelsior Cars, Willenhall, not to be confused with the London-based firm, has friendly and reliable staff and value for money. We have used them for transfers to Birmingham Airport, Birmingham train station and recently booked them to pick up at Southampton Port. Arrived on time for pick-up and were waiting for us when our plane was delayed by 5 hours, arriving home in the early hours of the morning. Would highly recommend.

You have now published a second one-star review against Excelsior Cars repeating allegations that our company employed you and failed to pay your wages.
For the avoidance of any doubt whatsoever, you have never been employed by, worked for, or provided services to Excelsior Cars in Wednesbury/Walsall, West Midlands. There has never been an employment relationship between you and our company, and we do not owe you any wages, salary or other payment.
You were already informed of this in our response to your first review.
We also explained that there are separate businesses operating in London under similar names, including Excelsior Cars London and Excelsior Cars and Couriers. These businesses are entirely separate from us. We have no affiliation, connection or association whatsoever with them.
Our business is based in the West Midlands and licensed by Walsall Council. The separate identities and registered details of the businesses can be independently verified through Companies House.
Unfortunately, our company has previously been mistaken for similarly named London businesses. On previous occasions, reviewers have recognised the mistake and removed or corrected reviews after establishing that they had reviewed the wrong company.
What makes this situation particularly concerning is that you have now been expressly informed that you have identified the wrong business, yet you have published a second review repeating substantially the same allegation.
Your allegation that Excelsior Cars employed you and failed to pay your wages is a serious allegation of fact concerning our business. It is untrue in relation to our company.
We hereby formally request that you remove both reviews immediately and cease publishing or repeating allegations of employment and non-payment of wages against Excelsior Cars in Wednesbury/Walsall, West Midlands.
You are now on clear notice that the employment relationship described in your reviews did not exist between you and our company.
The continued publication or repetition of false allegations about our business, particularly after you have been notified that you have identified the wrong company, may cause serious reputational and financial harm and may amount to defamation. We expressly reserve all of our legal rights in relation to the continued publication or repetition of such statements.
Excelsior Cars is a small, family-run business that has spent more than 10 years building its reputation. Hundreds of genuine customer reviews reflect the service we provide. We will not accept responsibility for the alleged conduct of an entirely separate London business simply because it operates under a similar name.
If you have a genuine employment or payment dispute, you must direct that complaint to the company that actually employed you, not to our business.
For the avoidance of doubt, this response serves as formal notice that the allegations contained in your reviews do not relate to Excelsior Cars in Wednesbury/Walsall, West Midlands, and that we require both reviews to be removed.

The Wonderful Excelsior Cars
I have been using Excelsior Cars from Birmingham Airport to Stone, Staffordshire for the past 6 years and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. I have met many of the drivers and found all of them to be friendly and courteous.
Today I had the pleasure of meeting Rocco and had a most enjoyable journey. He is a wonderful driver and so considerate of my needs ensuring that there was enough cool air circulating in the vehicle and checking if I needed to stop for water etc. I will look forward to travelling with him again

Fantastic company to use. We had Maj as our driver. He was on time, in a beautiful Lexus. I had information all way through from Maj, saying the car he was driving and registration. Brilliant experience for my Husband and I. It was such a comfortable experience, at the end of our holiday Would definitely recommend Excelsior Cars to anybody. Brilliant experience

Excellent Service
We used them for transfers to and from Heathrow airport. They were very reliable, turned up on time and the service was fantastic. The drivers on both journey's were lovely, communication from them was great and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Booked a taxi on their website to…
Booked a taxi on their website to travel from Birmingham airport to Stratford upon Avon. They cancelled the booking and gave the reason that they are based in Walsall in the midlands. Their website clearly states that they are based in Birmingham. Why did their site allow the booking. Just a waste of time and I would just avoid them.

Thank you for your feedback.
We believe there has been a misunderstanding regarding our location.
Excelsior Cars is a small, family-run private hire company based in Walsall, West Midlands, as clearly stated throughout our website. The Birmingham address you refer to is our registered office address, which UK limited companies are required to display. It is not the location from which our drivers operate.
Your requested journey was due to start at Birmingham Airport and travel to Stratford-upon-Avon. As our operating base is in Walsall, accepting the booking would have required our driver to travel a significant distance before even reaching the pickup location, placing the journey outside our normal operating area.
For that reason, we recommended that you contact a taxi company based closer to Birmingham Airport, as this would have been the more practical and cost-effective option for your journey.
As no journey ever took place and we did not provide any service, we are disappointed to receive a one-star review. Our only interaction was to explain that the booking fell outside our normal operating area and to offer honest advice before any booking was confirmed.
We are sorry that we were unable to assist on this occasion, but we believe we acted fairly, transparently and in your best interests.
