Excess Luggage Co. — luggage and personal effects shipping from the UK, worldwide since 1998. Excess Luggage Co. is a family-run UK shipping company based near Heathrow, established in 1998. We ship luggage, excess baggage, suitcases, boxes and personal effects from the UK to over 200 destinations worldwide — by air freight and sea freight. Whether you're a student heading overseas, a family relocating, an expat sending belongings home, or a business shipping commercial cargo, we handle it end to end. We collect from your door anywhere in the UK, take care of the export and customs paperwork, and deliver door-to-airport or door where available. For destinations where door delivery isn't offered, we'll always tell you clearly upfront — no surprises. What makes us different is simple: we're a real shipping company, not a self-service booking website. There are no DIY customs forms to puzzle over and no faceless portal. When you call us, you speak to people who have been moving luggage and personal effects around the world for over 25 years. We built the business in 1998 after seeing how much travellers were overcharged for excess baggage at the airport — and that's still the problem we solve today, usually for a fraction of airline excess-baggage fees. Our services include unaccompanied baggage shipping, excess baggage, air cargo and air freight, sea freight, student shipping, personal effects and household removals, and commercial cargo. Popular routes include the UK to India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Ghana, Australia, the USA, Canada, the UAE, South Africa and across Europe — but we ship almost anywhere. Based at MetEx House, 496a Great West Road, Hounslow, just two miles from London Heathrow.
