It's been 4 weeks now that I had treatment, and I can confirm that my initial positive thoughts have even deepened. I have not had any pain, and for me, the worst part of my symptoms was that I couldn't stand or walk for a long time, since my piles would quickly prolapse. I have been completely symptom-free since Day 1, no exaggeration. I am very cautious re what I eat and make sure to have plenty of fibre and fluids to avoid constipation, for me this has always brought the problems on. I have waited for far too long (1 year of daily issues with my piles!) to get treatment and hope this review will help people to decide quicker than I did. It was totally worth the
investment, particularly given the NHS options which don't seem to lead to the same results and often with quite some pain.

I had a single visit for both consultation and treatment and it cleared my symptoms completely. I also had no after-effects - I went straight from treatment to sat at my desk. The process was a bit unnatural because you don't get that part of your body treated every day, but for me it was easier than the hygienist at the dentist, despite me having three pretty nasty haemorrhoids. The staff have all been great too - pre, during and after care. Highly recommended.

From first contact, through consultation and treatment, to follow up care, I've been so impressed. Flexible, informative, not at all pushy, there was no heavy sales pitch.
The treatment was uncomfortable but not painful; the results have been nothing short of spectacular. For the first time in years I am pain free and comfortable, something I never thought would happen. The surgeon was absolutely fantastic and clearly doing what was right for me, rather than the business. I'd recommend Exroid without the slightest hesitation.

I’ve been back twice for haemaroid treatment and it ultimately hasn’t worked if anything I feel it has caused me further issues. I found the treatment painful and for me it simply hasn’t worked. The customer care wasn’t great either and they were happy to take my money for a third time.

I would absolutely stay away from the company from my perspective it is more about taking the customers money than the care of the customer. I would also warn about the potential after effect which for me have not been great at all unfortunately a one star.

I was quite anxious about going for this treatment. More so because I have had a few procedures that have not been successful yet very painful.
When I enquired initially I was reassured on the phone about what to expect. During the appointment I was put at ease and the nurse and the consultant did everything they could do help me relax.am amazed by the results and will absolutely consider this same treatment again if needed in future. (Hopefully not)

I had two rounds of treatment and have been symptomless ever since, even though I had a bout of constipation following an unrelated operation. Previously I had tried all sorts of remedies including minor surgery none of which cured my haemorrhoids, unlike eXroid. It has been worth every penny and cannot recommend it enough.

I had an Exroid treatment for my haemorrhoids, which cost me a significant amount, and within just 6 weeks, the problem came back. I was shocked to be told I’d have to pay £795 for a repeat treatment — despite the fact that the procedure takes around 10 minutes and no consultation is even required the second time.

While Exroid’s terms state that not all treatments have a 100% success rate, there should be a fair and transparent policy for patients whose treatment fails so quickly. Expecting people to pay almost the full price again after such a short period feels unreasonable and leaves patients in a very vulnerable position.

Healthcare providers have a duty of care to their patients — and that includes offering reasonable solutions when treatments are unsuccessful. Right now, it feels more like a business model focused on repeat payments rather than patient wellbeing.

I believe Exroid should urgently review their pricing and aftercare policies. Future patients deserve to know that if the treatment doesn’t work, you could be asked to pay hundreds of pounds more just weeks later.

Clinic good, people really nice, talked me through the procedure before hand so I knew what to expect. Put me at ease. I would highly recommend it. Easy to find clinic.

I have an underlying condition and I needed to have my haemorrhoid removed but, didn’t want the problem of having to face the procedure the NHS go through so was amazed when I came across this procedure requiring No cutting or freezing the area. I inquired about it and was convinced this was what I needed to be safe from infection. Approx 10 days later, I was laying on a table having a small low vault current passing over my haemorrhoid which is totally painless. Within one hour the consultation and procedure was completed and I was driving home without any pain whatsoever. I have to say, it wasn’t an instant result but, I was assured within 4 to 6 weeks I should see an improvement as the procedure carries on shrinking the haemorrhoid for this amount of time. And to my surprise I am now haemorrhoid free.
Update, unfortunately it’s come back, not yet as big as it was but I am feeling disappointed. A week after saying it was a good experience it feels like it was a temporary lull. I have read the reviews from other people and must now decide if it’s worth letting exroid having another go.

I had some hemerhoids after the birth of my second child about a year ago. I ended up having three treatments, and they now seem to be fully resolved. At the first treatment I had 3 x grade 2, at the second 3 x grade 1, and at the last 2 x grade 1. I found the first and last treatment very very painful, almost unbearable. The second was less so, I had taken a paracetamol in advance so maybe that's why. I think it might also be to do with how inflamed my body was at the time. Each hemerhoid was treated for about 8 minutes. Overall I'm really happy with results, although I do wish it was less painful.

The whole process was very efficient from arrival at the clinic to completion of the treatment. Pain during treatment was minimal and short lived. Everything about the mode of treatment and expected outcome was fully explained. Since the eXroid process was performed a month ago, I have had no recurrence of the unpleasant symptoms associated with haemorrhoids and my life is back to normal.

This was my 2nd treatment. Each time it took 8 weeks to see the full results.
After the 1st session the piles reduced from grade 2 to grade 1 after 8 weeks.
Now it has been 8 weeks since my 2nd treatment. Although I haven’t had it checked….from the symptoms I would guess the pile inflammation is nearly gone.
Will keep this treatment in mind if I have issues in the future. Apart from mild discomfort during treatment no other issues.
Pricey…but it works & is better than other alternatives.
Would recommend!

Contacted Exroid 30 April, having been diagnosed with hemorrhoids after a colonoscopy on NHS. I had already been on waiting list for treatment for over 3 months, and I had re-occuring bleeding and discomfort sitting. When I rang Exroid, I spoke to them and explained my problems, and he set up an immediate appointment to a nearby Clinic for 10th May, which I duly and happily paid for. Doctor and designated companion discussed my experience, and I was examined, which included a detailed explanation of my hemorrhoids. Treatment explained and accepted. It was a fair bit painful, but was necessary, and took around half an hour. I was sore for a couple of days, but since I have had no bleeding and able to sit comfortable. In fact, I have forgotten I originally had the problem! I have to thank Exroid for their help and treatment, which included a 4 week after treatment follow up phone call to make sure all is well.

This was a follow up treatment after the successful original treatment a year earlier. I re-booked because I had begun to notice a recurrence of minor blood smearing, but more significantly, and for the first time, anal itching.
Although slightly uncomfortable, the treatment has been remarkably successful again, and was very professionally handled at the West Bridgford clinic.

I had a treatment a few years ago for a really chronic situation which flared up overnight. I couldn’t sit down and I couldn’t stand up. It literally saved me and it was a matter of days before I could function properly again.
I have been back for subsequent treatments, of which the most recent visit was April. I cannot recommend this more highly.

4 weeks on from 2nd treatment I am now pain free, I would definitely recommend this treatment it’s not cheap but what price freedom from the constant pain of hemorrhoids.

It feels like there has been an improvement but it’s taking a lot longer than 4 weeks but everybody is different from age to severity ,Im hoping that as the weeks go on it improves further norvperfect but a lot better then when I went first time , exercise is key as well keep moving around , whatever Doctor hossain did it has helped the external hemarroid , Even the doctor said give it time .
Expensive yes, worthwhile for me yes , health benefits improved , quality of life better,

Slight discomfort inserting probe...no pain...three haemorrhoids shrunk...took seven minutes for each.

I was treated by Mr Iqbal and a lovely nurse was with me throughout. Everything was explained to me, the procedure carried out with everything fully explained. I am delighted, it has changed my life from worrying about the embarrassment of bleeding to a now normal life. I would highly recommend this procedure and the Oaklands Hospital in Salford is so welcoming and professional. I'm a retired ICU sister,therefore I know excellent service when given to me.
