Avoid Ezi-Fit Roller Shutters…
Quality of product and workmanship is low. Design uses engineering practise that consider questionable. Warranty is practically worthless and company from experience will try everything to try to get out of meeting their obligations.

Hi Colin,
From our records, we have assisted you in every manner possible and supplied replacement switches and a replacement motor at your request at no charge when there was never any fault with these components. This is a DIY product also, so we supply replacement parts to change anything that is faulty (not that anything was faulty with your shutter).
We are not sure how this service level warrants a 1 star review.
If you can find another shutter with an overall better build quality than ours, we would be happy to refund you for the purchase.

Very impressed with my installation
Very impressed with my installation, I followed the instruction carefully expecting to not get it from time to time, but most of those time is because I just could not accept that it really was that easy.
But I would suggest strongly follow the instructions carefully oh and if you have a friendly neighbour or family member who is careful at doing DIY things then include them and listen carefully to their advise and do it together.
It was fun and it was rewarding to see the job so well done.

Self installed remote controlled version. Could not be happier
Self installed remote controlled version about a year ago. Couldn't be happier! I work nights so it's great to be able to lower a sound dampening 'wall' over the window space during the day. We have evaporative AC so it's also good in summer to be able to leave the window fully open (with fly screen) with the shutter slats ajar... air flow is good with minimal sunlight. Shutter has never missed a beat

Had some trouble with communications…
Had some trouble with communications and the wrong fitting supplied for the switch mechanism but resolved after a fair period of time in getting the correct fitting. Quality of the actual roller is excellent.
