Facer is a scam! I unsubscribed, but I still got charged for premium, again.

Rip off after paying for a full year subscription they remove the app from the wear store making it useless. Complete scam they blame it on Google? How can other watch face applications still work for pre wear 6 then?

Most of the watch faces are premium which come at additional cost after paying for the app.

It's a -10 Stars for me,I bought about 50 watch faces and now it says watch face unavailable,I contacted Facer,they replied after 3-4 months and said they can't give me a refund but we'll give you 3 month trial period,are you kidding me,I lose all watch face that I'm supposed to have forever,and their gonna give me a 10 dollar value trial period,very bad do yourselves a favor don't ever waist your money.

This company even if you cancel continue to take payment. They do not provide faces for some phones including the latest Samsung Galaxy series. You have no chance of a reply if you email them. Even less chance of a refund. They do not even send out reminders of renewal they just help themselves to you money

SCAM I bought a £6.99 watch face and they have now charged me £29.99 for 6 months. It is proving almost impossible to get the money back. They fob you off to Apple who can't do anything. I am taking legal action and complaining to Apple. BEWARE. THESE ARE SCAMMERS....

I wanted a particular face on Facer. I had to sign up for premium just to find out that Facer has almost no faces available for my Samsung watch. So I decided to cancel my account. It seems Facer has not problem finding a way to lock me into a recurring charge on my Credit Card. However it seems they are incapable of making that recurring charge stop. I actually had to cancel me CC to stop the charges. Also you would thing they would give back the original charge for all the trouble they caused me. Nope they have no idea how to do that. I will never deal with Facer again and never give them my CC information.

My wife signed up for free trial and the app didn’t work as intended so she immediately tried to cancel. They are 3rd party so you can’t cancel through your Apple account. The website “cancel subscription” option just spins for hours and does not actually load the next screen. Emails to company are ignored or they send a message linking you to the same website page that won’t load.

This company is a huge scam. Please avoid so you don’t have to cancel your card like we did just to escape their charges.

It seemed like a good idea at the time. I did like the designs of the faces. But the step count never worked. It would get up to 900-something and then stop. And the face would go away every few days. Following the steps from Facer did not restore the watch face. Then it would magically reappear... only to disappear again a week or so later. Horribly inconsistent. I feel bad for the talented designers but if the data isn't right the rest of worthless.

Premium is not worth the cost. I have an Apple watch and many of the premium faces do not work properly. I did download one successfully. If you drop the subscription you lose anything you downloaded thru premium. Customer service is pretty much useless.

The watches face dont load right, they are not clickable except to the Facer app on your mobile. The support is slow to respond and not up to date. they use generic answers. the app fails too...

It really is a big list that adds up to a one star for me

You always know that you're dealing with the bottom of the pile when their website has absolutely no way of contacting them. No phone numbers, no email addresses. You can only message them on their app, on their website, where they have total control.

Add to that the fact that they happily send out multiple spam emails, with an "unsubscribe" link that doesn't work.

Keep clear!

Ridiculous prices (some watchfaces cost €11.99).

Fake (timed) sales (sells packs of 3 watchfaces worth €2.19-€2.29 for €9.49 while advertising a 50% discount).

Scam ads.

Sells watchfaces on the Google Play Store ~73% cheaper than within Facer.

Lets designers unilaterally delete paid watchfaces without warning nor compensation.

Does false/misleading advertising (lowers price from €6.99 to €5.49 and advertises "50% off").

Constantly removes access to all paid watchfaces and requests re-payment to use them again (reported multiple times, never fixed, found out by myself that logging out and back in fixes it).

App is a battery hog.

App requests precise location whenever you open watchfaces and often doesn't save favorites. Reported and sent multiple e-mails, pictures, and videos, issue persists.

Spams you with unsolicited newsletters, ignores unsubscribe requests.

Update: I upgraded to a OnePlus Watch 3 with Wear OS 5 and lost access to all my ~100 paid Facer watchfaces.

Very unethical company. They sell their premium service very expensively, yet when it doesn't work for weeks, despite several tickets and reminders, they only helped 4 days before the stopped subscription was supposed to end and they didn't add up the lost time to the subscription period. Reminders again, but no reply.

Avoid their service, as despite the fancy content, their business behavior is unacceptable.
