I was VERY pleased with my purchase from Factory Direct Filters... I bought enough for a year but then didn't change them as frequently as I'm supposed to. Thus, I still have several filters on hand. When I DO (eventually) install the last of my inventory, I'll reorder from Factory Direct Filters as I got the very best price for the ideal filters from them. Until I had a new complete heating/cooling system installed in my home, I'd always used the very expensive TOP OF THE HEAP, supposedly very BEST filters.... HOWEVER, the A/C supervisor who had many, many years of experience, saw what filter I had installed at the time and he said I could put some blame for my old system giving out sooner than average on those heavy duty ("fancy") filters because they cut down on free air flow, causing my unit to work MUCH harder than necessary and that aged the motor, etc... He said I should buy the cheap filters and simply change them every month regularly to not only get the air truly cleansed and filtered but to actually extend the life of my system AND SAVE REAL MONEY ON MY ELECTRIC BILL (as it takes a lot more energy to heat and cool with a struggling system)... SOOOOO.... I shopped locally for filters that sell for about $1.00 each (what the licensed electrician who specialized in A/C systems) said a good one should cost... does the job but doesn't strain the unit... and while I couldn't find one locally, I tried Amazon but their filters were even more than the local ones.... I did research online and then checked each company out and did discover the great company Factory Direct Filters... I wholeheartedly recommend them AND their products... : )

These merv 13 filters are great and having them on subscription means i don’t have to worry about running out. When you can’t find ‘em locally this is the way to go.
