Same as everyone else, have no email regarding being an auto-renew service, no email confirming id signed into an auto renew deal, no reminder email letting me know that i have an auto renewal coming up, and then just a blanket no response to my refund request, taking further and reporting to trading standards and going through official channels to get my refund. very poor fraudulent company DO NOT USE.

READ IF YOUVE BEEN CHARGED AUTO-RENEWAL!!!!

Like many here, I was shocked to see a charge go out of my PayPal as I wasn't aware I had recurring membership, nor did I receive an email advising me of this beforehand. Like others I contacted FFS to ask for a refund, but they refuse. They are a disgraceful business.

HOWEVER, BE CLEAR, THEY ARE WORKING OUTSIDE OF THE LAW AND YOU *CAN* GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!

Long story short, I phoned Citizens Advice who confirmed that 1) their terms and conditions do not make it clear the membership is recurring. 2) they fail to send an email with any terms or details of recurring membership when you sign up. 3) they fail to give fair notice of further payments coming out 4) they fail to provide clear instructions on how to cancel membership (if you happened to know it was recurring). This means they are acting in breach of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and, therefore, the law is on your side. Because of my report, Citizens Advice have referred FFS onto Trading Standards so I hope they will sort them out soon. I RECOMMEND YOU REPORT THEM TOO!

HOW TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK NOW!
If you paid via PayPal, simply raise a dispute and explain the above. Because they are in breach of the law, you'll get your money back. Thats how I got it back.

If you paid by credit or debit card, then contact your bank and get them to raise a dispute to get your money back that way. Because it's easy to demonstrate they are acting outside of the law (their pathetic T&C's is enough to prove this), you should get your money back.

FFS know they are in the wrong as they receive countless complaints every year but they rely on people giving up, believing there is nothing they can do or it's too much hassle. THEY ARE WRONG! I was reassured by citizens advice that I'd get my money back and they were right. But if for some reason you don't via PayPal or via your bank, taking them to small claims court is the next step and is very simple and you can get FFS pay any fees. Citizens Advice will take you through the process (all online) and at that point, they'll likely give you a refund then rather than go all the way to court, knowing they will lose.

Don't let them win. They are trading unlawfully and the more people who complain through citizens advice and the more reports they get through Trading Standards, the less likely they are to be able to scam people in this way. DON'T GIVE UP!

Unethical business with harsh refund policy. Signed up and did not realised I had been entered into an automatic rebill for my account. Checked the members area and there is no billing section visible (turns out there is, but it's hidden under 'edit profile').

My order confirmation email made no mention that there would be further charges to my card or that I was in a recurring subscription.

Then, a year later, they take payment again. No pre-warning or anything. Just rebill and hope you keep quiet.

Contacted support literally the day they took the money (so I had received no benefits of the service) and explained I didn't know I was in a recurring billing and didn't want the subscription as I no longer play the game.

Basically told tough luck, you're not getting your money back. This was even after escalating it to the general manager.

I have now initiated a chargeback as the charge was clearly unauthorised.

Dishonest. They auto renewal with no warning and no refund available. Took me 10 minutes to find where to cancel, doesn't come up when you google it. Then it wouldn't even let me cancel from the website and told me to email them. Not even close to the tools and user friendliness on Fantasy Football Hub. Go there instead.

No refunds. No real value in the premium member’s area that you don’t already get from all the youtubers. The planner does not gives you the right team value if you did not start from GW1. And expected points is in another page that doesn’t add up automatically. What a shame. Don’t bother paying for premium.

Unfortunately same as others have said - very greedy operation and poor value for money even when using. Avoid.

Auto-renewal with no warning and no refund despite contacting them on the same day. Look at the other reviews. Stay away from this service.

I can mirror the below reviews, auto-renewal but without any reminder. Make sure you cancel PayPal, or make a calendar note of renewal or your money will be taken without receipt or notice. This is likely in their terms and conditions, they will not send a reminder a week before like most companies out of courtesy.

On top of that, the service is buggy, and when using, not really that useful at-all. It is certainly not better than following most FF YouTubers which is free and would be my advice for people wanting to progress their game.

I echo the sentiments of the previous reviewer. Please avoid FFScout.

I was quite optimistic when I first subscribed to FFScout’s services, hoping to enhance my fantasy football experience. However, the reality proved to be rather disappointing. The quality of the product did not meet my expectations, leading me to decide not to continue using the service.

What compounds this dissatisfaction is the rigidity of their renewal policy. As a customer, the auto-renewal locked me into a renewed subscription of a product that I was unhappy with. FFScout Support was prompt in responding to my concerns but remained steadfast in their stance, repeatedly referring to their terms and conditions. Bear in mind that once monies have been taken, it is very unlikely that they would be refunded.

Moreover, what exacerbates this situation is the absence of a reminder email about the impending auto-renewal. This is a common courtesy extended by many subscription services to notify customers in advance about an upcoming auto-renewal, ensuring transparency and allowing the customer to make an informed decision. However, FFScout did not offer such a provision, further exemplifying their inflexible approach to customer service.

The lack of a refund upon cancellation during the season or immediately after renewal, without due consideration of unique circumstances like dissatisfaction with product quality, adds to the dissatisfaction. Policies are vital, no doubt, but I believe they should not supersede customer satisfaction, especially when the quality of a product is in question.

With these experiences, I find it difficult to recommend FFScout’s services. I urge potential customers to scrutinise their terms and conditions thoroughly before committing, especially in terms of product quality and their auto-renewal policy. Or in truth and more prudently, just avoid them like plague.

As for FFScout, I hope they take these experiences to heart, reconsider their policies, and work towards prioritising customer satisfaction and transparency over inflexible terms. Until such improvements are made, my impression remains that of a dissatisfied customer who feels overlooked and undervalued.

I stopped using my FFScout account at least 6 months before it's expiry. I was charged a renewal fee then 6 months later, and I contacted their support and about 8 members of their team. I did not want a renewal, I was not aware that a renewal would occur on my account and I had not logged into my account in over 6 months. They could easily verify this with my account. The only time I logged in was to disable the auto-renew after I had been charged. I did not even have a fantasy football team for 2022/2023 or have any intention to play. I gave them 2 weeks to reply and everybody ignored me, happy to steal my money in ignorance. My previous experience has proved to me that honest companies always refund in such situations, FFScout are clearly not honest and are quite happy to steal money from families. How can anybody justify charging somebody for a service they do not want, did not ask for, were not aware about any renewal, would like deactivated and have not and will not use ??? How difficult would it be to send an email to customers stating that your account be charged in two weeks if you do not cancel your subscription. A lot easier than setting up a bank transaction. But then they could not steal your money .... Modern day thieves living in ignorant bliss spending your money down the pub !!!
